Please, nothing over 35.00. I'm going to be a doll for halloween and I want my eyes to look the part, as well. When I said huge I mean over 15.0 mm. I'm not going to wear them all the time, so please no mean answers. :) Also I have Amber eyes, so I'm looking for a yellow/gold colored lens. Thanks!

I really wish I had white hair with pale blue eyes or really pale green eyes. I don't know why. I feel like it's beautiful. I'm not talking about a jessica simpson or britney spears.i mean really white hair and light eyes. I love Shakira's hair right now (2012) I have brunettes/redheads in my family and a few blonde ansestors. I am spaniard lebanese.So I have ivory skin, brown eyes.my mother has ivory skin and big brown eyes, my father has light brown hair and honey colored eyes.My grandparents and their families have a combination of brunettes (lebanese) and readheads and light hair with colored eyes like green, blue, hazel ect. I was thinking of dyeing my hair super blonde maybe white and get solotica contact lenses. I use skin lightening creams too.

IS THERE SOMETHING WRONG WIth Me? I just feel like theres too many brunettes. I want to look different.i am also an actress/singer/model. Many upcoming singers dye their hair blonde. I practised once in the opticians and then i put them in at home again on my own, after a while, ive tried for like an hour on and off trying to get them out, just managed to get one out but the other one wont come out at all

will this get easier each time i do it or will it always be like it ?

Is it bad to only wear one contact lens?

When I wake up to go to school I'm very tired and in result very lazy I don't want to do anything. When I'm in a rush to make the bus I usually just put in one contact lens.My depth perception seems fine because It seems like I'm only looking out of my good eye and I get no headaches or pains anywhere.

Is this safe to do? Will you have any problems with your eyes. I hear people say it can make your left eye lazy but if I put one lens one day on my right eye and then on the other day on my left I think it should be fine. Thanks for the help!
Added (1). @Melanie It takes me 10 minutes each to put in one so I save 10 minutes by not putting one in.

Accidentally fell asleep in my contact lenses?

I was up late last night reading a book and i fell asleep while reading it. When i woke up this morning i noticed i had accidentally forgotten to take my lenses out.My eyes looked fine, there was a little bit of goo on the contact, but i took them out immidiatly and flushed my eyes and contacts with solution.Im going to leave them out for a few days and only use my glasses, but are my eyes okay? I feel fine, but im still a little nervous.

Will contact lenses ruin my eyes?

This may sound dumb. I don't know.but I've had my contacts for nearly two weeks and I had the check up appointment. The optician asked how long I was wearing them for each day and I said 10 hours. He said the maximum I should be wearing them for is 8 hours since I'm still underage (I'm 15) and its not good for the eyes.

I don't want to ruin my eyes but I kinda have to wear them for 10 hours because I'm at school all day and then by the time I get home it's been nearly 10 hours even though I take them off straight away when I do get home. Also, I don't wear them on weekends. Will something bad happen to my eyes if i continue to wear them for this long for 5 days a week. Sometimes, at the end of the day I find I do get a minor headache but I hope that's just me adjusting to them… (I wear daily disposables)

Also, I really like contact lenses even though it can be a hassle sometimes and I find them more practical than glasses (which unfortunately I don't like)

Why do my eyes hurt when I take out my contacts lenses?

When ever I take out my contact lenses, I feel like I have something in my eye, and it feels like every time I blink my eye is being scratched, and it's in both eyes, are the contacts scratching my cornea? because I don't feel any pain in my eyes when I have my contacts in. Please answer

What is this red/pink stuff forming in my contact case?

I've had this case for a few months now, the one from opti-free replenish, which is the cleaner i use.and these pink/red stains formed on the bottom and sides of the inside of the case where the contacts are held in the solution.i cant clean it out either… any idea of what this is and if its harmful?

My eyes are in sever pain.?

My eyes almost always in agony. I wake up and they are fine for about half an hour then they slowly descend into pain.As the day goes on all I want is to keep them closed as it is only fine when they aren't open.

The pain is a warm pain, it feels like there is something in them and I constantly have to blink over and over.

Adding eye drops on;y stops the pain for a while. I used to wear circle lenses but I had been wearing them for over a month before eye problems started.My mother suggested it could be makeup but I have been using the same brands for a while and I am currently wearing no makeup and still experiencing pain.

I force myself to cry as the tears relieve the pain, as does going outside into cold air.

It isn't conjunctivitis, I had conjunctivitis directly before and it has gone and my eyes have been this way since.

Has anyone got any answers for me? Any idea of what to do or what it could be?

How can I improve my eyesight?

My eyesight is not that bad. I can see things very clearly. But at school I struggle to see the whiteboard or smartboard and other signs with writing in the distance well. I can slightly make out the letters.It's only words that I don't see very well. I do not want glasses or contact lenses. I'm 13 in a month.

I can't see as well out of my right contact lense!

I haven't worn contact lenses in ages coz they never were comfortable for me so I recently went in for an eye test and to get some daily contact lenses rather than monthly ones to see if they work better for me! Can I get used to these contact lenses?

My prescription for my contact lenses is the same as my glasses but my vision focus is a bit off and reading is a bit difficult because it gets hard to focus on it.
My doctor told me its the best contact lenses he can give me though.
He also told me that its a bit hard to focus on things because contacts are angled at increments of 10 degrees and my glasses are angled 5 degrees.

Pain around my eye that feels like a bruise... ?

I have a pain on my left eye, lower lid area (on the left corner, not running entirely along the bottom) that feels like the start of a bruise- however, I have not hurt my eye or that area in anyway.It's sore to touch and blink and I can't see anything when I pull down the lower lid that indicates anything. What could it be?

I do wear continuous wear contact lenses though I washed/soaked them yesterday to give my eyes a break. The pain has come on within the last couple of hours but I am constantly aware of it.

Contact lenses tearing?

Hi! So I got contact lenses about a month ago and they were fine la di da until one day I ripped one. Then I ripped the other the day after. We went and got replacements but when we got them checked then they said they were way too tight in my eye and that I would need a looser pair.So we put them in and they were too loose.So they decided to order in another pair (acuvue johnson and johnsons oasys) and they were fine for another week until both just ripped a while ago. They were bi weeklies. (The first and second pair were monthly). Also when they were fitted they said they were a bit tight and should move more and I got a bit of a dry eye sometimes. What can I do! Thank you :)
Btw I am going to the opticians tomorrow to get another pair and a fitting on Friday. The optometristdoesnt have the equipment to measure my eye for contacts which is really annoying me.

Why does my new contact lens hurt when I blink?

I have monthly contacts, and I just barely started wearing new ones a few days ago. But ever since I switched for this fresh pair of contacts, I noticed that the one on my right eye started to hurt whenever I blinked. This doesn't happen until I have had the contacts in for at least a few hours, and then it starts in my right eye, but my left contact is totally fine.It's not a burning kind of pain, but it feels like there's something raised or blocking the way a bit when I blink my eye (if that makes sense). I don't know what's wrong though. I checked to make sure it's not inside out, I've tried hydrating it with solution on my eye (which doesn't help), and I'm pretty sure there's not scratch on my eye, since eye scratches feel a lot different from this. I've worn contacts for years and this has never happened with a new pair.It really bothers me when I start to feel it hurting as I blink my right eye in the middle of the day. Any help?
Added (1). Oh, and just to note, these are the same kind of lenses (including same prescription/brand/type) I've been wearing for the past two years (which is why I'm confused about the sudden problem), but this is the first pair I've gotten out of the new yearly supply boxes I got recently.

Well, my eyes has gotten worst… I need stronger glass lenses. Since im always at the back in class, I always have difficulty writing whats on the board, even with my glasses. How would you define my eyesight?

I am -5.5 and -5.75 in contact lenses. I also have astigmatism, can't see signs until drive past them (Still learning) as I just can't see that far, even with lenses/glasses and I can't really focus on things. They sort of split into two and go really far apart.

On Answers, people have been referring to their eyesight as a mark out of 20 or 200.Is there a way of working out what my 'score' would be? I've never heard of it being defined like that, except when American's refer to perfect vision as 20/20.

Added (1). @Emily - I'm 18 and the optician who sorts out my contact lenses has told me that my reach will just never be good. This year, I've gone from -4.5 to -5.75.So I hope they're not getting worse because at this rate, I'll be blind by the time I finish university: P
I actually find it harder to focus on things with corrective lenses.
Added (2). Oh and my last eye exam was about a month ago which was when my prescription was increased from -5 to -5.75 and -5.5 :3 I've had glasses since I was about 2.

What are causing these damn headaches?

Now, I know 99% of people on here are not doctors and I am not asking this to get a reply of "Go to your gp" I'm not even asking what I should do.My question is what do u think it COULD be…

Around 3 years ago I was getting headaches so bad I'd be curled in a ball, crying with the t on mute, lights turned out etc. I went to my gp who sent me for a CT scan which showed clear. However, I am still having terrible headaches and to top it off they knock me sick now too.No pain killer touches them, not even prescribed 30mg dihydrocodeine.

I really can't live like this as I get at least 3 headaches a week and they usually last all day long.To add, I wear contact lenses so my eye side of things is covered. I have no idea what this is or what I can do to help myself because they leave me unable to look after my kids, which I feel no end of guilt for, my husband ends up taking time off work too.

I should add too. Once the headache does subside (I can't sleep through them) I am utterly exhausted, in the true sense of the word.

Any ideas?

Why do my eyes still burn when my contacts are in?

About a month ago, I scratched my eye while taking out my contacts and the doctor said I had corneal abrasion, so I stopped wearing my contacts for a week and it got better. Today, I put them in (like I always do---it's been fine up to now) and three hours later my eye started burning really bad. I took them out, and they still burn (just one eye). What should I do? Should I stop wearing them or get a new type of lenses or something? (I take them out every two weeks)

Why does my dad keep doing this?

For the last year he has been doing this and I don't understand why. Halloween Contact Lense Help?

I have a very high power of prescription for my eyes.My level is -7.50, I wear contact lenses, however I am looking for Halloween contacts with my prescription and I am having a bit of difficulty finding my prescription. I wear contact lenses and suffer from red eyes everyday, why is this?

Okay so i just started 11th grade and I've been wearing contact lenses on and off since 6th grade i believe.In the past i've had a few eye ulcers and eye infections. For the last few months whenever i wear my contact lenses my eyes will become extremely RED and usually one is MUCH more red and will be red around the brown part of my eye. (My eye is brown.) When that happens it feels very irritated and is very painful.no itching at all. Just pain.It kind of feels like it wants to burst.It doesn't hurt when i take them out (when they're not in i mean.), but yeah after a few hours of wearing them this happens… Also i wear make-up every day and that probably gets in my eye so i feel that could be part of the reason why. I've tried changing brands of contacts lenses twice and my eyes seemed to be calm for a while up until now.It seems i can't go a day wearing my contacts without my eyes getting painfully red… Its really embarrassing in school. I'm afraid that it could be a built-up infection in my eyes, but i'm not sure.My parents won't take me to the specialist eye doctor anymore because.idk they just don't care. (Also, sometimes i have this thought in my mind that my eyes can't breath or that oxygen is getting trapped under my lenses making them red? Can I wear glasses over contact lenses for reading?

I wear contact lenses because I'm near sighted but if I read for a long time I get an eyestrain headache. If I don't have contacts in I can read perfectly for longer.

Taking contacts out to read isn't convenient so should I put glasses on to sort of 'cancel out' my contacts?

Well today at work all of no where.my.vision started.to blur so i went to the.restroom took off my right side.contanct.lens and my right eye was almost.covered with this yellow mocus and under my lower.eye lid.there was these strands.of that yellow thing in there so i washed.it.away and.it.was good.for an hr.and then it.came.back and.my vision was.blurry… do you guys think you.can help me.to get this.thing rid.off i have.some.eye drops.called Sulfacetamide Sodium Olpthalmic solution USP

Contact Lens Diameter Confusion?

Hello, I REALLY hate having to spend 60+ dollars every year for an eye apointment when I really don't need one. If I have problems I'd go, and I'd go every 2 or 3 years anyways. ANYWAYS my problem is, I originally ordered normal Air Optix Aqua contact lenses, but I threw out the boxes when I got my new contacts the following year, which were colored FreshLook Colorblends. (Blue colored contacts on dark brown eyes) Anyways, I have my perscription and everything on this box, and the diameter. The diameter says 14.5, but I found the contacts were always a bit bigger, maybe cause of the color? I don't know. Anyways, I'm trying to order my Air Optix again, this time online because I don't have the time/want to go through all of that trouble for the hours of appointments they make me do, but it says the Air Optix only comes in diameter 14.2 … By chance, did they stop making them in 14.5? Or is it a smaller diameter because it's not colored contacts? Should I order the 14.2s?

How would a 5mm thick myopic lens look with rimless frames?

I have pretty terrible eyesight, but I always wanted to get a rimless frame. I'm thinking about getting a cheap one online, just to try it out. I enter my prescription (which is R: -5.50 -1.75 180 and -5.00 -1.75 180) on a website, and it estimated my lens (for the -5.50 eye, at least) would be 5 mm thick. First, does that sound right? And second, would that look decent? I'm guessing it will look somewhat thick, so anyone would be able to tell my eyes are weak, but is that coke-bottle territory? Are there any pictures of somewhat with a lens around that thickness, because I can't really visualize that on my face.

Why is it harder to read with my contacts lenses in?

I am 17 years old and I have perfect reading and near vision but bad far vision. I can't see far and I hated my glasses since I can't play sports that great with them so I got contacts. I have been using them for a week and have noticed that reading books, text messages, and other up close things are hard because its blurry when I have contacts in. But when i take them out, I can read perfectly fine. What do you think the deal is? Do my eyes have to get used to the contact lenses still? Maybe I have dry eyes? What do you think?

I'm getting contacts for the first time in 6 years (wore them briefly, but couldn't stand them… thinking back it was probably because it was the cheap Sofmed that they gave me for $10 a box).

Many have recommended Acuvue Oasys to me, but Bausch and Lomb recently released PureVision 2 HD and they seem really nice.

How long before I can wear contacts?

I am currently debating on whether or not to take accutane for my acne. I have read that a very common side effect is dry eyes, causing an inability to wear contact lenses. I have also read that these effects can be permanent. I am willing to wear glasses for the six months I am on accutane, but can I get back to wearing contacts after? And if so, how soon? I am really scared about my eyes as I am very vain and will regret accutane if I have to wear glasses for the rest of my life. Please help me! I feel so miserable.

I just got my soft contact lens yesterday. From the first time, the lens for my right eye is perfect but the left one is kinda uncomfortable. Left eye feels little blurred and feels not that comfortable… and also little sticky.it dont get sticky by time.its sticky and uncomfortable from just when i put them in. sticky i mean like when i open my eyyes after closing, i feel like the left lens will stick to my eyelids… pls help…

What are the best contact lens for dry eye syndrome?

I have dry eye syndrome and I would like suggestions on brands of contacts from others with dry eyes. I use Restasis, 15 mins before I put on contacts. I also use Lubricant eye drops w/ I'm not wearing them and 15 mins after my night time dose of Restasis. Brands I've tried so far are: B&L SofLens Daily Disposable, 1-Day Acuvue Moist and Air Optix. I store the Air Optix in Opti-Free Pure Moist. I tried several brands of re-wetting drops and finally settled w/ B&L ReNu MultiPlus. I've had the best luck with the 1-Day Acuvue Moist and Air Optix, but I still have days with both brands w/ I have to take them out, clean them and give my eyes a 20- 40 min rest, use lubricant drops and start all over. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! btw… I can't wear glasses, my nose has been broken and I have migraines. Any pressure on the bridge of my nose make the headaches much worse. 8-(

Why do my gas permeable contacts get blurry?

I have had these contacts for a year and a half (they're hard lens) and as of the last six months or so they sometimes get blurry. Usually it's only one eye. I will take out my contact to clean it and it has an oily like film coating it. I will clean it and put it back in but within minutes this same oily-like film is back.It is making it terribly difficult for me to wear these and I am getting seriously fed up. I have a terrible astigmatism and my eyes are terrible.My glasses make my eyes ten times bigger than they are and I have never felt good wearing them so I do try to avoid them as much as possible. I am highly considering going back to regular contact lenses but was first hoping there was something I could do to prevent this blurriness and discomfort.

I also forgot to mention that I do have an eye appointment on Monday but thought I'd ask the question on here first, hoping for some answers as while putting in my contacts today the left one got very scummy.

Hey guys.umh its about my left eye its very weak with right eye closed i see very bad like blurry and cant read at all with left only open but with both i see perfectly so i made glasses.but even with glasses my left eye is still unable to read recognizin characters etc.but i do see other things well like much better than without glasses i mean with LEFT eye OPen ONLY XD ~!! hmmh so what to do… my question would also be will my eye never see more like my right eye: L ?? for readin etc.with glasses left eye opened readin looks to sharp but with both eyes open again evrythings good.and BTW at the Docs place where u know he tells u is this good bad when u put ur eye thru some device to read characters off the wall.i did that test for lens and evry and each one of them were not perfect.i mean were not like i could see it as my right eye as good as my right eye.and only big characters i see them good.but small ones are problems things look okey clear but as for characters and readin with LEFt eye open only are not good.so yeah and btw i only recently wear the glasses --- about 5 days now.

Are my glasses's hinges completely broken?

Kay, so a few days ago… I was in gym and we were playing basketball/jump rope and I either had my glasses on or like one of the arms inside of my shorts and the front part facing. (Like they would look if you were to put it on a shirt) and they fell.So… -.- This girl says I dropped my glasses and she was the one who stepped on them before she said that on accident.So, I picked them up and I was so pissed. D: (They look like fake nerd glasses btw) Anyways, so the left side arm is like pulled to the left side more then the other one like bent? I guess. And, then the other arm like the hinge part wiggles back and forth. And then right above the hinge like right next to the lences in sort of cracked… Not really notice-able. I know I can't get that fixed btw… Other then that they are fine but the lenses are pretty scratched up but not notice-able. Only have had them for like 2 1/2 months now, if they are broken- how much are new frames and lenses? (seperate) I know what my eye vision is already though so I don't need the test. My contacts hurt when I put them on?

I received my contacts 2 weeks ago and whenever I put them in, it really hurts so I stopped wearing them. They were practice lenses, so my mom and I went back to the eye doctor to ask a question about my contacts.My doctor said one side of the contacts is thicker than the other, showing me. I couldn't see it but he used the same practice contacts and made me put them on putting one side exact on my finger. When I put them on I didn't feel anything. Ya the cosplay convention isn't till… like forever..BUT! I really want to know for later where I can get some grayish/white contact lenses. I think I scratched my eye?

I wear contact lenses and I think I might of scratched my eye.My eye is a little red on the top of my iris, its a little bloodshot and my vision is blurry in that eye. Its been hurting for a few days, when it stats to hurt I take my contacts of and put my glasses on and then try my contacts a little while later. I thought it was the pair of contacts that were currently in so I changed them and it still hurt.My mom is going to take me to the eye doctor to get everything checked out. How long does it normally take for these things to get healed? What are some home remedies that work for scratched eyes?

I need plain contact lenses to practice with before my optometrist appointment tommrow?

I've already checked pharmacys and drugstores and i need them by tommorow morning the latest. This way I will be able to hopefully get my real contacts tommorow afternoon. Ive done practices with my fingers also… though i want to be able to get the contacts IN my eyes without being afraid. Why Am I Getting Red Eyes When.?

I have worn contact lenses for probably almost two years now and never had a problem. Now these past few times I went to put them in my left eye gets red, my right eye doesn't seem to get red. They are a new box of contacts, I just opened these pair of contacts about a week ago. I am really good about washing my hands before putting them in and I rinse the container with the solution and put new solution in the container every day. I also of course rinse the contact with the solution everytime before putting them in my eye. (((Background Info))): I do have alergies and I am suffering from them at this time but have never had this problem before. Also when I notice that my eye is red I take the contacts out and in about an hour to an hour and half the redness starts to fade/go away.

I just got my hard contact lenses about 5 days ago, and I've been wearing them daily. I can see everything within a one foot radius pretty clearly, but everything else beyond that is blurred.It's not a regular, prescription blur, it's more like if I focus my eyes (which is really tiring becuase my eyes aren't used to the contacts yet) on the subject, the subject falls in and out of focus a bit.My doctor said that hard contacts do take longer to get used to (like, about 3 weeks), but I'm still a bit worried.Is this just normal for first-time contact wearers, are my eyes just tired and a bit irritated, or do I just need to wait longer? :c

And I'm sure that the prescriptions are fine, because my eyes are able to focus on far away things, even if it's just for a second.

Is it unsafe to wear too strong contact lenses?

I need to order contact lenses online before the end of June for an event. However, they take really long to deliver and I don't think I'll have enough time to go to my eye doctor for a prescription for contacts since I'm really busy. I'm going to just guess my contacts prescription when I order the contacts.
My glasses prescription is -3.00 on both eyes so I'm going to get maybe -2.50 contacts just in case. I'm not going to wear the contacts regularly, just for four days straight once.

Whats the O and E stand for when you order coloured contacts?

I want to order Acuvue 2 Coloured contacts for the first time. (i usually buy just plain) But i dont know what the O-Green and E-Green means (green meaning the color i want) so, whats the "O" and "E" stand for? By the way, these are prescription and im doing it through 1800-contacts if that helps.

How to get eyes like supernatural demon eyes?

From the show Supernatural the demons have PURE black eyes! I'd llove to have lenses that covers the whole eye like the ones in supernatural, both the black ones and the red ones (normal demons and crossroad demons) Does anyone have ANY info on how to get lenses like that? or how they do it?

Contact lens for first wearers?

So I got some red contact lenses from petrifeye, and they look good quality(is petrifeye good?) and so well I have fear of wearing lenses and I try bout 40 min everyday trying to put them in. I'm getting better and losing fear but like is it bad if you try to keep on putting it in will it damage your eye? O. o and my eye feels a bit tired (I haven't even managed to have it in yet!) and my eye lashes are very long which is the worst part they always bend the lenses down any help???

My Mom Completely Lost It?

My mom and I fight about contacts a lot. I use one-day lenses and take good care of my eyes, but my mom thinks I'm going to get scratches and eventually go blind. Once, she BEGGED me, but I CAN'T wear glasses. Yes, vanity, I know. But I feel so ugly in them (overdramatic, I know) and I do know I look very different. I think she's overreacting. Today, she was complaining again and I got annoyed and told her I'm not going to listen and that she's making a big deal out of nothing. She started SCREAMING at me until I finally escaped into my room. Later, she demanded I go out shopping for new glasses in hopes I'll wear them (not going to work). I was busy and told her no and we got in another fight. She started yelling that she's done trying to be a good mom and started attacking me, shoving and hitting me. I grabbed her arms (partly out of anger, partly out of self defense) and screaming. She kept coming at me, at one point grabbing a chair. She shouted things like "How DARE you grab my arms.Do you know how many Asian children grow up getting hit.It's perfectly normal for parents to discipline their kids like this once in a while. Yes, you're right, I am crazy! I'm always letting you do whatever you want, eating so much candy all the time and wearing contacts." And yes, that was seriously her complaint. I know I'm sassy sometimes, but mostly it's when something like this happens and I'm trying to get her back a few days later. I mean, I don't think she's abusive (psychotic maybe) but I don't understand why I have to go through such drama about something like contacts! Is she right about the danger or is she just out of control?

Also, this kind of behavior is rare, although it's not her first time and probably not her last.

Added (2). Just to clarify, I know my mom will never hurt me.It's scary and an out-of-control kind of anger but I doubt she'll ever permanently injure me or hit my face. If she starts hitting out at me, it's usually my arms or something. She mostly just cusses me out.

RokuAku: I agree about the part that she doesn't have to provide me with anything, but the candy I buy out of my own allowance, the computer is from the school, and the contacts… well you're right, but I think I'd buy them myself anyway. I get that that's not the point though. The money's not a problem, my dad earns a lot and my mom is a stay-at-home mom. I do think the time we spend together is straining her, but it's straining both of us. She's somewhat of a "helicopter" mom and I feel suffocated. Scratch on the white part of my eye?

Let me start from the beginning.so today i got new frames and lenses for the 1st time in about 2 and a half years and i feel like i cant see with them? like when i read small print, reading in general i cant read it or look at it with out seeing doubles or it looking blurry.are my prescription's to strong? or im just not used to it yet? and my eyes hurt and i have a headache also.

Eyes red, contact lenses?

I only started wearing contact lenses yesterday, but only for 2 hours because my optician told me to gradually work up to 8 hours. Today I was about to put them on for 4 hours, but I noticed my eyes were red (both eyes, both on the side of my eyeball closest to my nose). I'm really scared I might have an infection.

By the way, I'm 14, and I'm wearing 30day contact lenses.My eyes are neither itchy or dry but they are somewhat noticeably red- I noticed a foot away from a mirror (and this is without my glasses), and when I told my mom, she only noticed after I had told her. I don't know when my eyes started to redden, but I've been around 20 kids today and my family who haven't pointed it out until I did at 18:30.At this time in the evening, I don't FEEL tired but I have been playing multiple games of Tetris in the last half hour (maybe this is why?). I'm hoping it is.

I'm scared of concussion? help!

About twentyish minutes ago I was in the shower shaving my legs, I slipped and fell out of the bathtub caught my leg and really hurt it and hit my face off the toilet, it was my forehead/eyebrow bone area the two bump parts of the bone and now it's swelling up and red and it hurts (not as badly)

It was hurting badly a few minutes ago and through my head there were small pains but they're wearing off practically gone it just hurts a little randomly and where I hit it, it was hurting my eye as well.

My eyesight feels a little thrown off like one eye is bulging more than the other and things go in and out of focus slightly (I have glasses with a focal lens in just one the right one is perfect so hitting my head might be causing the out of balance)
I feel a little shocked or odd because it's happened I feel okay normally besides the pain around my forehead area and eyes I feel sleepy and a little hungry I'd like to go to bed but I don't know if I should (at least until my hair dries a bit)

Will I get concussion, my mum won't take me A&E and I don't want to go in case I catch something like a stomach bug, I have a phobia of vomiting and the second my head hit I thought 'please don't be sick'.

I can think straight obviously as I just signed up to this site to post the question.

Will I be okay, should I panic, how long will concussion symptoms take to start, will I be okay? and most importantly will I throw up?

Is it wrong for me and my best freind to be annoyed at our other nest freind for leaving her own birthday party that we threw for her, just because she wasnt the centre of attention, well she said she had a family emergency and had to go but we dont believe her because earlier before she took off her costume because no one was taking pictured so she didn't see the point and some people where taking theres off but not that many, but she was supposed to be staying over with us and her bf who drives but she just left instead and left her contacts ( special ones for the costume not vision lenses) and used like 11 of my make up wipes without my permission, but still my freind threw the party at her dad's house, bought all the food £60 and we set it up for her and she left, she said nothing major happened at home so thats why we think she could be lying, and because most of the time things are always a competition with her, and like about 30 mins - 1 he into the party she took off her costume. I dunno is it wrong that were angry or at least a little annoyed we'll all get over it sooner or later but shes asking me if the other freind is angry witg her which she is so I dunno if she would want ne to tell her or not

I have acuvue daily moist brand contact lenses. If I soak them in seline(I have a bottle of it which I got from my eye doctor) can I wear them twice? I am running out and I need them for school this week. I would only be doing it once. Would this be okay to do one time?

Ever since my first eye exam (at school or at the eye doctors) I've always had a 20/20 vision. Even now, I still have a 20/20 vision. I really want to wear color contacts, but my mom said only people with prescriptions can wear them.My older girlfriend, she said she didn't have a prescription, but she still wears color contacts.

Some guys like girls with thicker glasses. What's the attraction?

I have very nearsighted eyes (-10).My boyfriend is -4. He is very attracted to my glasses. He insists that my lenses are more attractive than his. And he isn't the only one. I always thought that thin lenses would be more cosmetic than thick ones. The thicker the lens, the weirder they make things. The eyes get smaller, the cheeks get pinched in, the rings increase, the bigger the reflections, etc. IMO those are not desirable characteristics! So isn't it perverse of a guy to think that a -10 lens looks better than a -4 one? Please help me understand what the attraction of thick glasses is.

I'm 13 years old, turning 14 in November. I want to get colourful/patterned contact lenses for Halloween this year to scare my friends, just for fun. I've been wearing glasses for about 3 months, short sighted.

An optometrist told my parents that people as young as 13 shouldn't wear contact lenses and that you have to be around 14 or 15 to start wearing them, but some people even at the age of 11 wear lenses. (correction lenses)

The lenses I want to get don't correct your vision, only make your eyes look… creepy. Some of my friends say to stay away from them because they can scratch your eyes or you could get an infection or go blind, but some of my friends say that they're fine… should someone my age wear 'party lenses'? Why/why not? Thanks.

I have the 2-week acuvue oaysis lenses, and according to my calculations, the ones I'm wearing as I speak are expired. I've worn my first pair on August first, and threw them out two weeks later. Red Ring Around Pupil From Contacts?

I've been on vacation since Sunday, and forgot my glasses at home. For the first three days I wore my contact lenses all day, and my eyes felt fine. Yesterday, my eyes really began to ache and go red. I have a bright red ring around my pupil, and every blink hurts. I have worn contacts for the last four years, and this has never happened. I've bought eyedrops for red eyes and in about a day the redness clears up, but the ring is still visable. What should I do?
