Non-prescription colored contact lenses for dark eyes?

So I had an idea and I thought it would be very funny for me to wear colored contact lenses for my first year of high school and then for the years after that, go back to my normal eye color and confuse everyone. But from the research I have done, I haven't gotten too many good answers, so I thought I'd ask here.

I have a hazel eyes, and perfect vision so there would be no need for prescription. But what I need to know is, is it possible for me to get colored lenses that would cover up my hazel and make it look like a natural blue? Like to the point where it looks like I am a natural blue and there is no trace of hazel? If so, is there anything else I should know? Do i need thinner lenses?

My prescription is -2.00 in my right eye and -3.25 in my left eye. Do I need to pay more for thinner lenses (1.6 or even 1.67) or would I be ok getting the standards 1.5? The frames I want are thick so should hide the thickness.

Wore soft contact lenses during brain / head CT scan. Is this safe?

I called and asked the ER and they gave me a nonchalant "umm, yeah I guess" (coming from a super young tech). So does anyone have an informative answer? In scared I've messed up my eyes or that my lenses are now not usable or irradiated. Advice please.

I dropped my soft contact lens in water and put it back on. Is it ok?

I dropped my contact lens in sink water then cleaned a few seconds with solution then I put the lens back in my eye. Is it ok? Should I take it out and clean it again with solution?

Why can't our Asian women accept what they look like naturally?

Living in Asia, plastic surgery and other type of cosmetic procedures are huge. Including, whitening of the skin, which can be permanent. Fillers to enhance the Asian nose bridge which is made to make it more look like a white womans nose. Eye coloured contact lenses. Surgery in Korea is huge-making jaws look more feminine etc, eyelid surgery to make the eyes look bigger. I’m Asian myself and why can’t our women just be happy and accept what they look like normally? Yes some white women get surgery as well, but it’s never to look like another race, and yes some of my Caucasian friends do get spray tans but it’s more for a glow to look healthier-never to change their skin colour permanently.

I soaked my new pair for 6 hours and wore them yesterday.

Do I have to soak them like that every time I use them or only for new pairs?

Why is the holy bible so weird?

All it does is talk about men raping women and women prostituting themselves. That really annoys me they are fake christians. I don't believe anything the Bible says. I won't give offering or worship any God. I am no longer a christian and I no longer attend church.
Added (1). I'm 23 years old I am a good girl and I will tell you the reason why. I don't smoke, I don't drink, and I don't do drugs. I don't have any STDs. I graduated High School and obtained a Diploma. I have never been in a relationship or marriage before in my entire life. I have never been arrested before. I don't have a criminal record. I don't have any tattoos on my body. I don't wear nose rings or tongue rings. I don't wear fake nails or nail polish. I don't wear contact lenses.

active. I'm not a gold digger. I don't makeout with guys in public. I don't rough play with guys. I don't wear high heel shoes and revealing clothes with an intention of getting guys to check me out. I like to cover myself because I respect myself.

Do I have to clean my monthly contact lenses with the solution after opening them?

So like, I got this box of contact lenses and in that box there are 6 smaller 'boxes' that contains one lens. So do I have to clean them with the solution after opening the smaller 'box' to get a fresh pair of lens or can I already wear them without cleaning? Lol, not sure if you'll understand my question… And I mean wearing them for the first time - when I just took it out of the small 'box'.

Scratch on my contact lens?

Hi so I recently got contacts I've been very gentle with them but I somehow got a scratch on my left contact. I see it on the lens and feel it in my eye. Well i was wondering if taking them out with a bent qtip will do that maybe? I saw on youtube people doing that and i started doing it, it's been really helpful but i was wondering if that would cause damage to the lens? Thank you

Is it to okay to wear contact lens regularly?

Hi:) I'm a 15 year old girl and I've been wearing glasses for 3 years already but I only wear it in school or when necessary. I find it so irritated cause I look bad in glasses tho. And I've been thinking of getting a contact lens for my eyes vision. So can you guys tell me some tips? Like where to avoid wearing it? How to take care of it? Does it made ur eyes blind if wore everyday?

Ordering contacts online?

I am ordering lenses online. They are not for regular use, they are just for costumes, etc.

I found I can order the same power as my prescription lenses. But it doesn't let me choose the BC or DIA

My BC is 8.6 and my DIA is 14.0. The ones on the site are 8.9 and 14.5… Would that much of a difference make them feel too awkward to wear?

Concerned about teenage daughter's eyesight?

She complained about not being able to see clearly and the doctor said she has a condition called myopia. He said it's not to serious but she does need glasses quite badly! Is her vision really very poor? Why didn't she say anything before this if her vision is so bad? Should I be worried?

This is the prescription the doctor gave her for contact lenses:

Added (1). For a school drama production, my group is looking for CLEAR glow in the dark lenses. So in the light, our eyes seem normal, then when the lights go out we have glowing eyes, our teacher might get blue UV light, we don't know yet. It doesn't matter what colour our eyes are glowing in the dark. If anyone could help please reply!

Really confused about my vision?

I went the eye doctor yesterday. I received stronger contact lenses. I have had continuing trouble reading small print with my glasses and contact lenses. It never occurred to me to try and read the small print with out the glasses or lenses. I took off my glasses and could read small print ( medicine bottle print ). When I wear my glasses or contacts it is blurry and nearly impossible to read. When I wear glasses/contacts nothing else is blurry. When I'm not wearing glasses/contacts everything is blurry except thing close to my face. The Doctor says I am far sighted. I do not know if that is true. I thought glasses and contacts were meant to improve vision of thing like small print? What do you recommend

Will lasik surgery be success for me?

i am 19 year old boy… I have specs of high power -6.0. There is structural defect in my eyes and its genetic(all my paternal relatives wear specs). I am a student but i have to regularly use computers and screens. I cant avoid them… I want lasik surgery to get rid of my glasses(they look bad) but i am very much concerned about its consequences… I have heard that after lasik surgery eyesight deteriorates after 20-30 years and the damage done is irreversible… If not lasik surgery. Please tell me some other way to get rid of glasses of this high power(except contact lens because they are high maintainence)

Should I start wearing gas permeable contact lenses?

Right now I'm wearing toric soft contact lenses, but I end up most of the time wearing my glasses anyway. I wonder if wearing gas permeables would solve my problem?

When wearing contact lenses, my left eye seems kind of blurry or foggy. My right eye will be clear for a while, then go to blurry for a while, then clear for a while, and so forth. However, when I wear glasses, my vision is clear, so I don't think it's something wrong with my prescription. I don't know if my left eye could be that way because of my level of astigmatism, where my eyeglass prescription is:

OD -2.50 + 1.25 X 009
OS -3.75 + 3.25 X 001

I don't know if these are relevant details: A few years ago, I went in to see if I could get LASIK. The eye topography scan said my eyes are not completely shaped the way they should be, so I was turned down, although the eye doctor said they couldn't visually tell just by looking at my eyes.

Years ago, I used to have no astigmatism in my eyes whatsoever, but about 6 years ago it showed up.

Are there any contact lenses that hide a cataract?

I'm 21 and I've had a cataract removed from my right eye about 3years ago, but now the cataract in my left eye is growing.

Last time my eye went really cloudy and really noticeable as they wanted the eye to be as bad as possible before operating, but it was so embarrassing and I don't want to have to go through it again.

So I'm wondering, are there any contact lenses that are purely cosmetic that will hide the cloudiness of the pupil while I wait 3-4month for an operation?

And could you suggest some or leave a link to them please? I've had a quick browse but I have no idea about contact lenses

Doctor suggested that I get fitted with contact lenses?

I just got my first glasses prescription and the doctor casually mentioned I might want to look into contacts. Why? I wasn't planning on wearing the glasses full time. Do I need to? Will contacts make my vision worse?
