I have astigmatism but I want normal colored contacts?

I don't really need the responses saying I shouldnt use regular contacts if I have astigmatism. I'm well aware i'll see blurry but I want colored contacts for something i'm doing. (I'm also aware of circle lenses for astigmatism I just don't like those options). My prescription is Right (SPH+1.00)(CYL-2.50) & Left (SPH+1.50)(CYL-2.75). I can see pretty well (just a lil fuzzy) without my glasses or toric lenses so I don't know if I should just get unprescribed contacts or what I should do. I know the trick SPH+half of CYL for those with astigmatism wanting to get regular contacts but since I have hyperopia I don't know how I would do that.

Do I need high index lenses?

Prescription is roughly -2.50 -0.50 in both eyes. The doctor said that it's close to -2.75 -0.50
