The other day I approached this girl who was outside an optician advertising contact lenses. I wanted to know about contact lenses, obviously, but from there we went on to talk about ages, and from there to beards, and from there to rock music, and from there to wrestling, and from there to "I hope your boyfriend won't mind me being friends with you", "I don't really have a boyfriend".
I'd like to think I found a girl after my own heart, but could it be that she was just trying to "close" me? I had already signed up for a free consultation re: lenses when we talked about half of this, and she didn't try to fob me off after I did - we talked for another good while.
What do you guys think?
