Can I carry my makeup in my purse on a plane?

I'm flying for the first time, and I'm going to Iceland for a week. I only need one luggage for my clothes. I'll also be carrying this tote bag on me. In my tote bag I'll be putting my powder makeup, contact lens case that already has eye solution in them, and a toothbrush/travel size toothpaste in a plastic bag.

Would I be allowed to carry those on a plane? Even if its just in my purse, instead of a backpack or an extra small luggage?

Fell asleep with contacts in, woke up with ONE MISSING! Help?!

I don't know what to do?! I woke up took the one that wasn't missing out and looked all in my sheets/pillows/hair/etc. And I can't find it. I also looked way up in my eye and below the bottom lid but I can't see it there either. I'm FREAKING OUT! Is it possible that it's still in my eye? My eye doesn't feel any different than it always does! + My contact lenses are blue tinted so if it was somewhere obvious I would be able to see them. Please Help!

Any recommendations on similar contacts?

About a year or so ago, I was in AcuVue Oasys. -6.00 both eyes, 8.4BC 14.0 DIA

When my insurance was renewed for the year, another eye doctor switched me to AcuVue Advance Plus. -6.00 in both eyes, 8.7BC (he said that the previous prescription had my base curve either too flat or too sharp) and 14.0 DIA. He put me in those with the 8.7 base curve and they seemed to see a lot more clearly, felt more comfortable and such.

I went back to my old eye doctor (insurance reasons at my new job) when I needed more contacts. Had my exam and such done. Advance wasn't available, of course. Tried Air Optix… Tried AcuVue 2… They were way too thin and very hard to put in (folding over on my finger when I touched them to my eye), and I have worn contacts for over a decade. We kept changing the prescription back and forth.

They have discontinued all Advance brands. Apparently Oasys is still available in 12 packs, but the 6 pack appears to have been discontinued.

What's is the real difference between the 8.4 BC and 8.7 BC? I remember my current eye doctor saying that with my eyes, I should be pretty versatile in being able to wear pretty much anything. I remember the 8.4 being a little uncomfortable, but that may have been an older version of the Oasys that they might have improved on now and I can't say for sure that it was actually the base curve.

I still have a prescription for AcuVue Oasys 8.4 BC. They apparently discontinued the 6 pack and still make the 12 pack.
Added (1). I'm thinking of ordering just one box of the Oasys 8.4 (they only come in 8.8 and 8.4 through the company I order from, apparently) and seeing how comfortable they are. Then I could order more later.

I know that this isn't the place to ask for random advice for strangers. However, I'm tired of running to the eye doctor to "try something else." I think she's getting tired of changing my prescription, too. Is anything else similar to Oasys or Advance Plus?

How to not make your eyes look small with eyeglasses high prescription?

What can I do about this? I got new glasses, but my prescription is quite high, -5.25 in both eyes (no astigmatism at all, so rather simple and even when it comes to my prescription)

But when I put my glasses on, I noticed they make my eyes look small (I think you know what I'm talking about, like the coke bottle glasses)

What can I do about this? What type of lenses do I need so they just look normal and not show off my really high prescription?
Added (1). No. I know there are lenses that will make your eyes look normal, I just need to know the name of them. Thanks.

Is sleeping past 12:30 really that bad?

I'm 14, so I guess every single adult on here would be saying yes. But the problem is, even though I'm not necessarily an insomniac, I've always had trouble falling asleep in the night. My mum wants to blame it on electronic devices; that's not even the case. Even at school CAMP, when I've been active the whole day and not touched one single device, I'm always the one just lying in bed at 2 am struggling to sleep (2 other girls are in the other room watching TV…).

This is heightened by the fact that I have really old night contacts (hard gas contact lenses). Ik this might not make sense to people who've never worn them, but basically since mine are so old they're uncomfortable and make it even harder for me to fall asleep - I oftenly have to get up 2 or 3 times a night to redo them.

Basically, these same contact lenses wake me up at 6 usually (I take them out). Once I wake up, I can't fall asleep. I'm typing this right now because I can't. I literally don't feel tired at all; I lay on my bed until I can't stand it anymore.

I WILL feel tired later on - but at a very awkward time. It's always around 8 in the night and once this passes I can't fall asleep again. I can't nap either - that'll make everything worse.

So what can I do? There's no way I can possibly 'reform' my sleeping schedule if the situation is like this. Simply lying on my bed and counting sheep WON'T WORK.
And seriously, every single teen I know (that's a LOT of people) do this, with NO negative effects.
Added (1). NOTE: By no negative effects I mean no negative effects on their study in class (just like me, I'm a straight A student). They oftenly stay up to 3 am. Seriously, it's common for our geniuses here.

I'm not kidding when I say I know a lot of people. I play League too, and I often have up to 40 friends awake at 1 am.
Added (2). Also, just saying, I'm not one of those people whose bodies' compensate for falling asleep in school. I'm wide awake the whole time.

Without glasses everything seems normal sized. However when i put on glasses everything seems magnified and closer. I was wondering if this is actually how im meant to see the world? And if contact lenses will have the same effect as the glasses?

Two years post-LASIK, and still eye strain and other complications, what to do?

It's been two years since I had LASIK done; I used to wear lenses of the power negative 8. The complications are persistent till now.

First, I use tears everyday since the LASIK, because my eyes dry up fast. Second, by 3 to 4 hours of using PC even with frequent breaks and lubrication, I would get eye strain and headaches. If I continue using and depending on the amount of hours I further use, I get eye strain, headaches, blurry vision, and drier eyes that might last upto two or three days, at which point I completely have to stop using electronics.

I'm a 22 year old university student

Thanks in advance

No exact expiration date on colored contacts?

I ordered colored contacts from Hollywood Color Contacts and the pairs that I got last up to 90 days (3 months), but there's no exact date. It just says the number of months I can use them for. So when do I start counting down the days till its expiration date? When I first open it or when it gets delivered?
If my question isn't clear lets say I ordered 2 colored contacts each expiring after 3 months (with no specific date). Does that mean that they'll last me 6 months? Or 3 months? Is it ok if I opened one pair and used them for 3 months and open the other then use that for 3 months or will the second pair be considered expired?

Did they really stop making AcuVue Oasys and Acuvue Advance Plus contacts?

I had been wearing Oasis for years when another eye doctor change me to Advance Plus. They felt much better and I could see more clearly with them. All was well until my last eye exam to get more contacts. They told me that they "don't make them anymore" and since then I have tried everything from AcuVue 2 to Air Optix. I can't wear those really thin contacts. It feels like something is in my eye because they move when I blink. My eye doctor has changed my prescription twice to two different types of contacts, and now I'm going to have to go all the way back to try to get them to change it again.

I do see on the website where it says "The ACUVUE® ADVANCE® family is being discontinued by the manufacturer. The end is near. Stock up now before they're gone."

What else is actually similar to them? The AcuVue 2 is absolutely nothing like them. What can I do?
Added (1). I see that AcuVue Advance is apparently still available, and there is something called Advance Plus 6. Is there a big difference between these?

How to wash my hands before putting on contacts?

Clear Care contact rinsing? - 1

I forgot to rinse the contacts with clear care solution before putting them in the special case. Rinsing them for 5 seconds is part of the instructions. Does it matter? I put them in clear care solution after taking them out from my contact case with saline soIution so they werent dry. I usually leave my contacts in the special case for Clear Care for around 8 hours to neutralize the peroxide and then put them in a regular contact case with regular saline for a good while before putting them on; i put them in saline afterwards just because i dont want to put my contacts right back in my eyes after using a peroxide solution regardless of being neutralized or not. Will not rinsing my contacts for those 5 seconds affect anything? My contacts are soft lenses not RGP. Clear care was recommended to me by my optometrist so thats why im using a hydrogen peroxide solution instead of multipurpose.

Can I get non prescription contact lenses at the eye doctor?

I can't get colored contacts with a prescription because I have astigmatism, and apparently they don't sell colored contacts for astigmatism. So do they sell colored contacts at the eye doctor? Which Contact Solution should i get, Renu or Opti-Free?

I need to buy a new bottle of contact solution. The last kind I had I didn't care for (felt a little sticky), so I'm going to go with Opti-Free or Renu, both brands I have used before in the travel bottles.

I wear Air Optix Night and Day Aqua Contact lenses that are for a month at a time (including leaving in at night). My eyes do get dry some and I will put in an eyedrop from my solution every once in a while.
So should I go with Renu or Opti-Free? (Also, any eye drops I should get to use separately from my contact solution for dry eyes?)

Replacing lens at Walmart?

I just got a new pair of half rimmed glasses, but I moved so I'm pretty far away from my usual eye doctor. There's none near where I live, but I was wondering if Walmart would be able to do it if I didn't purchase it from them and if so, how much does it usually cost?
If Walmart doesn't have this service, are Costco or Sams a good option? Thanks

I saw my ex-crush and she asked for my number?

She wasn't interested with me and called me a stalker and a creep when we were 12, because she didn't like my personality and thinks I was stalking her, and now today, at the age of 15, we saw eachother at a mall and she asked for my number. I use to be fat and nerdy and today I have 4 pack abs, wearing contact lenses, and part of the army cadets. She seemed nice and she has fking hot ****. But I remembered she called me a stalker and a creep which was probably one of the most terrifying moments in my life. Should I go for another chance, or reject her?

What requirements do I need to get a job in a Disney park as a face character?

I'll soon be completing college and having visited disneyland and world several times as a child/teen growing up. I'd like to work for sometime in Disneyworld or land as a face character. I'm looking forward into a prince role and I'm thinking of prince Eric. I grew up watching Disney movies and had a huge crush on Ariel as a kid. Haha
So what are the height, weight, age requirements, appearance, needed talents, personality, can I choose the character, and how long (years?) can I work as the character?
I'm 6''0 feet, well built body (I dance, workout, eat right to pretty much stay in shape), I'm fair skinned, with black hair and amber eyes. So I'll have to, cut my hair short (my hair comes till my shoulders and its normally tied in a tight single pony, I believe I have to wear the wig? ) shave my beard and wear blue eye lenses to fit Eric's look. I'm 23, soon turning 24.
I can dance, perform gymnasium, sing (I know most of the Disney songs) and I'm good in imitating characters and interacting with people, I've taken part in school and college sports, plays, dances and shows and have been active in the college fests.
Any advice would be appreciated! So I can take it into account, when I actually plan into getting in an audition soon.
I will check out the website for auditions schedules and other information, but the simple and most important information, of you which know would really be appreciated, espcially if you are working/have worked at the park. Thank you. :)

Is my eyesight good enough for the Parachute Regiment?

So I'm British if you didn't already work it out. I am already in the Application process.
So when I got my prescription paperwork from the opticians, I was happy that my eyesight was good enough to join the PARAs, I think my left eye was 2.50, and my right eye was 2.75, the standard for the Army is 6.00. This was a few months before I started my application.
So about December time I received my medical form through email, I printed it out and realised I had to take a visit to the opticians, so I went to see the optician, who said he had done this before and he knew the Army standards.
So luckily I didn't have to have another eye test, as it wasn't time, he just filled the form out for me. When I was talking to him he was asking me about my job choices etc. He then went on to say that usually when you go for an Army medical, they like you to be able to see the third line down on the board without using glasses, and here's the problem, I can barely even see the giant A at the top of the board.
I didn't think this would be a problem as my optic strength is pretty weak compared to the standards, and in training and out on patrols, I was planning on wearing contact lenses anyway, so I can see perfect and spot enemy targets from distances, and then wear my glasses when not doing any of the above.

Would this be okay and would I pass my medical?

How to manage to wear contact lenses?

So I have been wearing glasses for a while, but I really don't like wearing them, so I want to start wearing contacts. The problem is that I have tried it before, about 6 months ago, but I wasn't able to put it in because I was blinking. Also I felt a bit under pressure because the eye doctor was watching me. So how can I make my eye stop the blinking? Also, do I have to look straight into the lense while putting it in? Because I've been practising by touching my eye, and I don't blink if I look up.
