Will Corneal Neovascularization go away?

So I just got some Air Optix Aqua Night and Day contact lenses, wore them for 2 nights and my eyes had red veins showing and were very irritated. I took them out and gave my eyes a break but its been about 3 days and the veins have not gone away. The veins aren't in my corneas but they're in the white parts of my eyes. Will they ever go away or have I just grown some ugly red veins that are permanently in my eyes now?
