Sexual attraction towards my doctor?

So my eye doctor is about 30-34 age range and I'm 18 I've been going to him since I was about ten… today I had to go get my eyes checked for a new prescription and after he did my vision test he asked me about my contacts and why I got green ones in stead of hazel like my natural color I said because I think my eyes aren't that pretty then he said well i think there beautiful then we kinda stared into each others eyes for a moment… after that when I was looking at the colored contact lenses and he walked up behind me(his you know what was on my butt) then he just started talking about the lenses and I felt him getting hard… he also walked me out to the door and said maybe one day we could see each other outside work he also hugs me after every appointment (4timedayear)… now I kid not when I say he is pretty hot for his age and I've always had a crush on him we hung out last weekend it was just so amazing and it's like we just connected but were going to get coffee this weekend again and I don't know if its right to be doing this also when we were on the phone he said he had a sexual attraction towards me(we exchanged numbers also) so what's your opinion on this like should i go on about seeing him or is this wrong i just have so many different emotions going on I don't know what to think or do…

My boyfriends has been wearing his contacts everyday and every night for the past 2 year. (off once in a blue) what damages could he have possibly done to his eyes? is this a situation he should take more serious?

How to earn money? (14 years old)?

I cannot get allowance, my family is too poor.

My dad doesn't pay child support and my mom is already having trouble paying for my school registration…

I have to pay for my own Haircut (60-100$) because that is something i think is worth paying money for, i will NOT go to any other hair stylist because just… no… i only trust the one person.

I have a high farsighted prescription, can I get lasik surgery?

I have a high farsighted prescription of 7.00 in one eye and 4.75 in the other, my cyl is -3.75 and -2.25, also it says axis 173 in one and 5 in the other. I hate having to rely on corrective lenses and i want to know if I am going to have to deal with this my whole life. Also I am only 15 and I know that you have to be 18 and your eyesight needs to be stable to get lasik done, but I'm just thinking about the future and weather or not I should get my hopes up. (I don't want to talk to an optometrist because it's not really that important at age 15)

Can contact lenses give you wrinkles?

My mom took me to an eye doctor and it turns out I'm far-sighted. We're going back tomorrow to get me some eye wear and I can't decide. I've tried some realistic looking fake glasses on before, and they don't make me look all that good.So contacts were pretty much my first option. But I've heard that they can give you premature wrinkles since you'll be stretching the skin around it to put them on (I'm not sure how contacts on put on, though, so correct me if I'm wrong).Is this true? And have you ever gotten an infection due to contact lenses?

I found really nice fake glasses frames online. Can I buy them and bring it to the optician (eye doctor people) and have them replace the fake lenses with my prescriptions.

I don't know what the numbers on the side of glasses frames mean. But the fake ones that I'm looking at doesn't seem to have any numbers on the side. I'm not sure if those numbers are required in order for opticians to create the right size lenses, so if you know what those numbers mean, please tell me if it is required.

Taking out contact lenses - Does this sound right? HELP?

Hey,

I went to my contact lenses teaching app today and I was taught how to put in and remove contact lenses. I was super scared and after lots of faffing I managed to put them in, when it came to taking them out I was able to take one out but the other didn't come out and so the option had to help.

The lady teaching me said to take them out I should slide them to the outer corner of my eye then pinch it with my index and thumb. I tried and tried and I couldn't do this method.

Is this the easiest method? She said it was. I have watched loads of videos on how to remove them and also the Specsaver video and they do it completely different, please help! I have my next teaching app next week.

How to convince my mom to let me wear contact lenses?

So yeah I'm going to be a freshman (I'm thirteen) and I want contacts. I don't really like my glasses and it boosts my self esteem when I don't wear them.My mom hasn't said no or anything but my next eye appointment is this month and I need new glasses anyways. I'm just going to switch over to contacts and have my old glasses just in case even though they aren't that strong anymore. I will probably wear them for 8 hours each day so my eyes don't get dry. I'm nearsighted by the way, so I'm blind when it comes to reading signs more than 8 meters away.So how can I convince my mom to let me just in case she says no? What is this white spot on my iris!

I've had this spot for a year now on my right eye's iris and it really hasn't grown.its not on my pupil. I do wear contacts (freshlook colorblends) and my eye doctor said it might be lack of oxygen in the eye due to wearing contacts to long. I just want to make sure it's nothing bad.

Which contact lenses compare to torric frequency 55?

I wore torric frequency 55 due to mixed astigmatism I had a problem with them always drying my eyes out. I have an eye exam on Saturday and I'm wondering if any of the acuvie (sorry for spelling) are comparable to the torric frequency 55? The eye dr said once he checks my eyes he'll be able to tell I need contacts ASAP my son had fun with my glasses lol & I'm hoping to leve Saturday with a sample pair

What happens if lint gets on my contact lens?

Ok I wash my hands and dry my hands with a towel and then I take my contacts out clean them with solution then put them in my case and fill it with solution and sometimes I see like little lint particles or something in it so is that bad? I mean in the morning I rub them again with clean solution so is there a problem with lint in the case?

Eyeliner suggestions for contact lens?

I wear contacts, i have tried just about every drug store brand eyeliner and all of them seem to leave a film over my eye or lens, then i cant see clear and it drives me crazy.i have tried mac and bobbi brown too same story with those.i do put my liner in my water line because i always go for a bold look.

What has happened to my eye?

Yesterday one ofmy contact lenses fell out of my eye, well actually it got stuck but when i pulled it out it was in half, so it had broke in my eye which is why i had to pull it out, i don't think the other half is in there anymore. But when i looked in the mirror i see one of the red veins looks bumpy up the top of my eye, now every time i blink if feels like an eyelash is in my eye (but it doesn't hurt it's just uncomfortable) did i just burst a vessel or something? Is it bad?

Back surface lens technology detrimental?

Can the back surface technology be the only cause of me having to return my new progressive eyeglasses? I'm told not everybody can adapt to those lenses. I cannot see clearly with the left eye with my new eyeglasses, and I see slightly double.
The eye dr ensured the prescription is right.It's my third pair of progressive eyeglasses, I've been happy with the other two. The last pair was made in the same place as this one, and I've been happy with it.
The day when I wore the new eyeglasses at work, I got sharp eye aches and pain, and head aches.
Now they say 20-30% of people cannot adapt to the new back surface technology, and this is the cause of me not being able to see clearly through the new eyeglasses. Can this be true? They say all the measurements are correct.
Also, I'm told that because I'm 20/25 (with correction) in my right eye, this is also a cause. (But with my right eye vision I'm happy, it's the left one that cannot see).
Then I'm told that because the left eye MUST BE the dominant one, and the brain fights back.that's why. (Without even checking which eye is dominant.)
I also met a lot of subtle put-downs, and hate glances, that ruined most of the rest of my day.
What is true of all this? The eyeglasses are really expensive.

At the end of April, my eyes were hurting when I wore my contacts and they stayed red for a day afterwards. I went to urgent care and got eye drops because the doctor couldn't find any scratches or anything on my eye.My eyes got better, but about two weeks ago, it started happening to my left eye. I called an ophthalmologist's office and the receptionist told me I should call Costco because that's where I get my contacts from. She said it could be the brand I wear even though I've been wearing this brand for four years. I wear air optix.

I'm definitely going to call them, but what do you think is going on?

Should I be worried? Eye?

I went to the opticians about two weeks ago for a check up and they told me everything was good. I asked to start a contact lens free trial and so I went in last week so she could check my eye lenses etc. She pulled up my eyelid using a peg like tool thing, dunno what its called, obviously not an actual peg.It might of been hard for her to do cos I don't like people near my eyes so I wasn't relaxed.

However a day later my left eye was hurting and when I was putting eyeshadow on I felt that in the corner (nose side) theres a slight lump, which doesn't hurt now. But I can still feel it and just confused as to what it is. I'm going to go doctors tomorrow as I'm extremely worried.

Please tell me what you think of the start of my book?

This is just a draft at the moment but I would like some advice on how to make it better please and also from reading this small part do you want to read on? I'm trying not to give to much of the story away at the moment.

I can feel the sweat dripping from my forehead and i can't get the dirt out of my eyes. I can see blood.It's everywhere but I can't move myself to stop it because i'm frozen on the spot. I can see a hand out of the corner of my eye, its lifeless and unattached from a body.

I wake suddenly from the nightmare. When will this stop?

Two days later

I interrogate myself in the mirror while applying some colour to my cheeks. I hate what I've become. I liked it at first, being able to control who I want, when i want but thats changed because i want to be a better person. I quickly put my green contact lenses in and leave my apartment.

As I step outside into the cool breeze of the evening I gather my thoughts. I'm in a new city with new people and a new apartment. This is the start of my new life. There's just one problem. I'm broke financially that's why I have to do this tonight.

I've always thought they are dark brown.but it looks black in photos.

people think i am wearing coloured lenses but i am not wearing any lenses.

and for some odd reason, in photos people sometimes asked if i have dark grey coloured eyes which is not possible because i have never seen dark grey eyes.

Okay I'm 13 and I had to wear glasses since grade 1.My vision sucks I can't see far its too blurry. I have an eye appointment this month and I was considering contacts. My eye hurts when i blink?

Yesterday one of my contact lenses fell out of my eye, before all this happened my eye was hurting a little before but not stinging, it just had a tender feel, well it got stuck but when i pulled it out it was in half, so it had broke in my eye which is why i had to pull it out, i don't think the other half is in there anymore. Now it feels like a hair is in my eye when i blink, it has been happening all day, it doesn't hurt so bad but it is really annoying! When i looked in the mirror i couldn't see anything at all! I think the problem might be in the colour part, i looked to see if there are any tiny hairs or anything on there, but couldnt see anything, tried looking under both eye lids, still nothing. Can anyone please help! I can't get to an optometrist for over a week!

What do I do about my bloodshot, puffy eye and socket?

Please note, the nearest hospital is about half an hour by car and I don't know the area. Nothing is open, either ate.

Arwas helping my aunt paint my cousins bedroom whilsy he was away today, when paint splats came off the roller and into my eye.My being me, I finished my line (from mid wall to the ceiling, so only about 30 seconds) of paint and THEN went downstairs to ask my aunt for help. She gave me some eyewash and an eyebath that comes with contact lenses to clean it out with. I did this twice, for as long as I could handle, that time being less and less each time. I then went to loon up to check for some under the bottom of the eye, and got a ton covering my pupil from the upper lid, internationally. I obviously washed the eye again, two times again. Then, over the next 2 hours, I took my 4 times to 12 eyebaths with a mix of (at different times) water amd solution.

But, although I did this just before 4 pm, and it is now almost 20 to 2AM."My eye is still swollen, sore, bloodshot etc. I can't so much as blink without really bad pain.

What do I do now?

How to get better vision without glasses?

I have to turn in my frames to get new lenses and i am going to have to go without my glasses to the first day of school, and maybe the rest of the first week.can you help and tell me how i cant make my vision a little better so i cant at least see where im walking? and no i dont have contacts.
Added (1). Pinhole glasses wont work because they count as sunglasses and sunglasses arent allowed at my school

Can a thicker eye lens than the other actually make your eye bigger?

I have one weak eye (my left) and I got a Dr's prescription for glasses with one lens being visibly thicker than the other. I've always had that eye bad and never addressed it so now it's pretty bad and I know that's why I need the thicker lens on the left. But after wearing those glasses for about a year and a half, I noticed that my left eye looks bigger than my other could that be possibly because of the thicker lens?

Hi I got my glasses today and just need a general introduction on using them.my power on the right and left eyes are -0.5 DC and -0.75 DC, respectively.my optician wrote down for me to use the glasses as "regular use".My glasses are prescribed as "unifocal, constant use" What exactly does that mean? Should I wear them all day except for sleeping and showering?
I have checked my glasses, they fit good and things are more clear when I wear them so the prescription and lenses match.
How should I adjust to the glasses for the first few days?

Wearing contact lenses for long.is it a problem?

I wear soft contacts- monthly ones. I put them on in the morning and take them off at night every day. Also, If I take them off, my eyes feel very uncomfortable and itchy so I have to put them on to feel better. I was just wondering if it is harmful to my eyes wearing them everyday for the entire day?

I can't get my prescrtion from my eye doctor. If I go to get glasses somewhere else, can they use my lens and get it from there? I can't it's been almost 2 years, but I can't wait until my eye exam, I need them soon.So can they use my lens?

I have worn the colors Brilliant Blue, Gemstone Green, And Turquoise. But there are many more other colors. What other colors do you guys think is better? I was born with a cataract in my right eye. When I was put into surgery, they made me wear a patch which I took off a lot. They took out my cloudy lens but didn't put in the artificial one.My mom just says I have to be older to get the lens. How old do I have to be?

Will contact lenses ever fall out?

I want to get contacts (in a couple of weeks) along with a new pair of glasses and I am a little worried about the contacts! Can someone with experience tell me a little about them? Do they hurt or are they ever annoying to put in/take out? And also.can they fall out, like at random? Or when you touch them? Thanks a million to all answerers!

Contact Lenses Sting?

After wearing my contact lenses for one week I noticed that when I put the lens in my left eye it stings for about 2 minutes then completely stops ( the right is fine )

Any advice to stop this happening ?

I wear clear lens hipster glasses with plastic lenses but i have to strain my eyes because its a little blurry with the plastic frames i like to wear the glasses but i dont want to ruin my eyesight i have 20/10 vision. Glasses prescription wrong?

I just got new glasses.My prescription changed but not by much. The power is the same but they cylinder got a little stronger.My left eye cylinder changed from -.75 to -1.00.My right eye cylinder changed from -1.00 to -1.50. I am having some trouble in focusing my vision. From a distance it is a little blurry, but from up close it is difficult to focus at all. I notice this most when I am driving and look at my speedometer.My speedometer becomes completely blurry. All the numbers blend together. I do notice most of the problems occur on my right eye.Do I have too much cylinder or is there something wrong with my lens like poor centering?

How long can I wear contacts?

I have a pair of soft coloured contact lenses that are Plano (non-prescriptive) and I've only worn them once for 3-4 hours. They fit well, were comfortable, and I had no trouble. I want to wear the contacts to school, but that would mean wearing them from 7 am to 4-5 pm! And that's 9-10 hrs! Is it okay to wear them for that long? I don't want to wear them daily, just once a month.

I did some research on the Internet, and the majority of people recommend 8 hrs. What scares me is the risk of bloodshot eyes, ulcers, blindness and all that scary stuff!

Left eye:+1.75 -2.25 010
Right eye: -1.50 -2.25 010
What gives? and how bad is my vision?

Contact lense inside out?

I just got contacts a few days ago and i can put them in fine but there is a problem. I dont really know if theyre inside out or not. I flip my lenses to see if youd see that perfect half sphere shape that most people suggest to use when youre having trouble with it.i personally see that my lenses look almost identical whichever way its flipped.Is there any onther suggestions on determining if youre lense is inright? The i tried putting in the contact 2 times to see if there would be one more uncomfortable than the other but it doesnt seem to work…
