Toric contact lense suggestions?

I have an eye doctor appointment next week and ill be getting contacts shortly after. I do have astigmatism and i've heard that those lenses can be very uncomfortable. Does anyone else with astigmatism have a specific brand of lenses they recommend? So far I'm feeling like Acuvue Oasis, Biofinity toric, or Biomedics toric would be the best.

Also, are 2 week or month better? Thanks.

Water and contact lenses?

My doctor has asked me to avoid any kind of water in the eye region while wearing contact lenses, and this includes taking a shower, swimming, etc.

The lenses he gave me are monthly replaceable ones.

Perhaps I should have asked these questions to the doctor, but they didn't come to me when I was in his clinic, probably because I was so excited about the contacts.

Question 1> Does avoiding water include avoiding rain? What if I get a few drops of rain in the eyes while wearing the lenses? Will the lenses get ruined?

Question 2> Can I ask the doctor to write me a prescription for some daily replaceable lenses in addition to the monthlies I already got? If yes, would it be safe to swim wearing a daily lens, and then throw away the lens right after I come out of the water?

Does concave lens causes displacement of eye lens?

Is it possible that after using a concave lens spectical for an year improves myopia, for example; if my myopia is 2 diopter, after using concave lens for an year will to be improved like from 2 diopter to 1.75 diopter?

What do I do if my eye glass prescription is way too strong?

I got new glasses today and the prescription is extremely strong and makes me feel like I'm going to pass out, if my insurance already paid what I get per year, and I take my glasses back to the doctor to get new, weaker, lenses, are they going to charge me for new lenses and a new exam? When I got my exam the prescription seemed fine but it's too strong now, and that isn't my fault. Do you think I ll have to pay?

What are the best colored contact brands?

What are the best colored contact brands?
I'm 15 and am gonna get colored contacts. I researched and saw most celebrities use Solotica and a lot of people say that's as realistic as they've seen. So I was looking at solotica natural colors mel, ambar or quartzo. Any other thoughts on solotica or other brands or experiences?

Also was considering: Coopervision, acuvue, illusions or fresh looks!
Btw they would be prescription as I do wear contacts regularly already for my eyesight

How long should a ear lobe swelling last?

So I got my ear lobe pierced on 8th July, approximately 5 days ago… On the day itself no swelling. Swelling occurs on the second night. It became worse the following day. It was tender to touch even when not touching, I still can feel the pain, there's redness, but no discharge… I was told this swelling was pretty normal as it's our body reaction to heal it…

But as of today, its been like 5 days and it's still swelling, and tender… Should I be worried? Or this is pretty normal? Do note that there's no discharge, just swelling, and will feel pain if touching… The swelling did reduce but it's still there. I do use contact lenses solution to 'clean' it. Should I be worrying? Also, left ear is more painful and colour is deeper and redder

Are my contacts still in?

I got very drunk last night and I can't remember if I took my contact lenses out or not, my eyes are a little sore but I'm not sure if my contacts are still there because when I try to take it out it just hurts and I might just be pinching my eye, is there anyway to tell if it's in and if it is then it's stuck so what should I do?

Where do I buy circle lenses in Taiwan?

I'm going to Taipei, Taiwan in a few months and I'd like to buy circle lenses there. I don't want to order them online; I'd rather have a salesperson go over everything with me and make sure that I get the right kind. Any suggestions?
