Will it be okay to wear a contact lens a month after the date that it has to be changed?

Today, I just found out that I have not put my left contact inside the lens case after I took them out as I was in such a rush. Now, I have lost my left lens. Therefore, I have to get another left lens from my yearly supply. I did not want to change my right lens along with it because it will disrupt the cycle of changing lenses every two months and will make the left and right lenses unequal. Since I do not want to disrupt the cycle, I will continue my wear schedule for my right lens until it is time to change it. As a result, I know I will have to wear my recently changed left lens for more than the maximum wear schedule until it is time for me to change the right lens. I fully understand that all contact lenses have to be changed once the wear schedule has passed. Consequently, I am scared that something might happen if I wear that left lens for more than the maximum wear schedule. I have done the calculation and I have found that I have to wear the recently changed left lens for 29 days after the supposed changing date until the right lens has to changed. Does anybody know if it will be harmful if I wear my lens for 29 days after the changing date?

How often should I change the disinfectant of my lenses?

Recently I just got myself contact lenses. I plan on just using it on special occasions and not on daily basis.

I know that after I take off the contacts, I should put it in the contact lenses case along with the disinfectant.

As what the title said, should I change the disinfectant EVERY day or just once in a while? If so, can you give me the recommendation about the accurate period of time to change it?

New reading glasses?

Ive never had glasses before and I got them yesterday. So how long does it take to "adjust" to the new lenses? Also, they are bifocal so should i wear them all the time for the first few days or just when doing close work? Thank you!

What type of lens should I ask for? Where's the best place to go? Help?!

I have bad eyes… Like really bad. I'm a little self conscious about my prescription being so strong. I usually get my glasses from Americas best, and last time I had them give me the thinnest lens that they could, even thought they still were a bit thick, I was happy. The only thing that still bothers the hell out of me is the way my glasses make my eyes look so huge. Is there a certain lens I should be asking for? Where's the best place to find it? How much does it usually cost?

Do I need coloured contact lenses for cosplay?

I'm going to London Comic Con in May and planning to cosplay Ciel Phantomhive from Black Butler. I've already ordered my cosplay and my wig, however I'm not allowed to wear blue contacts in case they damage my eyes (I've never worn them before). Do I need to wear contact lenses to play Ciel or should I just keep my green eyes instead? (I've included a picture of the outfit I'm wearing too)

Can t seem to put contact lenses on?

I ve recently bought some in order to change my eye color, but regardless of how many videos and tutorials I ve watched and read, I seem to be unable to get them to stick to my eyeball. They either stay on my finger or fall off completely. My hand is dry and I ve already tried eye drops to make my eye more moist, but the lens still won t stay. I don t know what else to do in order to put them on:(

Hi I want to cut bangs but I wear spectacles, is that ok? Will I look weird? But I may be getting contact lens and I don't know when that will be.

I want the role of a character who has brown eyes So badly, but I have blue eyes, and I already asked, you gotta have brown eyes and look everything like the character to get the role. I am thinking about getting contacts. I have started my new job. I've never worn them. I have astigmatism. After my initial test, does the doctor have contact lenses on hand for you to try out? Or do you have to pay for contacts until you find the correct pair? I have cash on hand for the initial test, but not to pay for anything else until my checks start. I don't know anyone who has contacts or I'd ask them. Thanks!

I have monthly contact lenses that i change every 30 days and wear for up to 12 hours. If i take them out after about 11 hours and put them back in 1 hour later to wear for the rest of the day, would that be okay?

ok so you might think this is a dumb question but i need to know if cosmetic contact lenses can cause blindness because i'm interested in going to the eye doctor to get cosmetic lenses but my mom is saying it can cause blindness. Men: Do you like Asian or American makeup better?

I am asking specifically about makeup styles, not what you think stereotypes of the women's personalities are.

Not all Asians and not all Americans will wear this makeup, but each culture does have different makeup techniques in general.

For example, Asian makeup tends to have a straighter eyebrow, circle lenses, and more natural lip, like the Asian model with brown hair shown below.

And American makeup tends to have a higher brow arch, more dramatic lip, and no contact lenses, like the American model with blonde hair shown below.

I think the goal of most Asian makeup is to make the wearer look more youthful (which is one effect of wearing the big contact lenses), whereas the goal of most American makeup is to make the wearer look more elegant and refined, when it's done right.

Which look do men generally prefer as far as makeup?

Of course there are other styles of makeup too (such as Indian style makeup), but for the purpose of this question, just Asian and American.

What Happens If I Wear Super Old Contact Lenses?

I have been wearing mine for a long, long time. Maybe since like… Last Summer. Contacts are ******* expensive, and wearing my glasses are out of question. They magnify the **** out of my eyes, making me look loony. Is this okay? Like I rinse them with solution before putting them in, and I always change the solution before putting them back in the case.
