Does anyone clean and re-use daily contact lenses?

Here in Singapore, one month worth of daily disposable lenses cost more than Americans pay for a single pair of glasses. If you buy only 90 days worth, the doctor wants to repeat the exam before you can re-fill. The cost is outrageous.

The cost of peroxide based cleaning kits is about the same as you pay at Wal-Mart. Go figure?!

Just about everyone either re-uses them 2 or 3 times, or they visit the third world (Malaysia, Indonesia, etc) and buy cheap lenses.

Btw: I went with my friend to Malaysia, last week. They did not have my prescription. The guy tried to tell me they are "close enough".
Furthermore the boxes were maked with an expiration date only three months away. Needless to say, I did NOT buy them.

Any experiences with re-used lenses?

Is lens.com good for contacts?

I want to know if it is good to buy contacts from there, because it's literally half the price I usually buy contacts for, which has me a little skeptical, so I just wanna know if it's legitimate.

How to convince parents to get contact lenses?

I had this talk with my parents about contact lenses a few years ago, but they think it's harmful to the eye.
I want them because I think glasses are such a hassle. As much as I don't like to admit it, I take off my glasses a lot and hold them around (I don't like wearing them or holding them). I can already predict my parents saying to just wear them.
I also scratch my glasses a lot, and I hate how they dirty so easily.
I think contacts would be more convenient, and I have a lot of friends who could advise me with putting them on/taking them off.
I still don't know how to start the conversation of contacts and how to convince them enough.

What kind of lazy eye is this?

I've had a lazy eye all of my life but I'm kind of wondering what type of lazy eye it is. If I were to try and explain it, it would probably be like, for instance, if I were to look through a pair of binoculars, I would be able to see clearly with one eye, but looking out the other one it would be like there's a veil or like the lens is capped or blocked. That is what it looks like. My question is what scientifically is going on in my eye. I have had this confirmed by an optical doctor, it is just I don't know what exactly is causing it and I'm curious.
