Soft contacts removal?

I'm going on a vacation, and I'd rather use daily contacts rather than my ortho-k lenses. Does a hard contact removal tool work on soft contacts, or should I just practice removing them by hand?

My clear contact lenses make my irises look bigger?

Both my 14.0mm diameter lenses and 14.2mm diameter lenses with 8.6 base curve make my irises look larger than when I have no lenses at all in my eyes. Is this normal?

Can I wear contact lenses with a different base curve/diameter?

My base curve is 8.4 and diameter is 14.0

Would contact lenses of base curve 8.6 and diameter 14.2 still be alright?
