Is there anyone who had ICL operation?

I have high myopia, don't want to wear glasses in my life

many people say that those with high myopia will have thin cornea, so i think that icl is best suitable for me, and i want to have this surgery, but i worry about the its complication

(icl procedure involve implanting a lens in your eyes and

correct the nearsightedness very well)

i saw that the icl lens can be removed, the operation is reversiblE,

i still believe that operation still involve some risk, ang have side effects,

Even though I have astigmatism, can the eye doctor prescribe me non-toric lenses if this is what I prefer?

I have astigmatism and was last prescribed non-toric lenses about 4 years ago. It is time for me to have another exam soon.

Will the doctor force me to into wearing toric or can I still wear non -toric based on the results of my exam?

As a matter of fact, I would like to stay in my presription which I have been wearing for the last 4 years if at all possible.

Do I just bring the empty contact lens box with the prescription on it, to the doctors office, so that they can see what was prescribed to me in the past?

Are people who have astigmatism, out of luck for colored toric contact lenses?

I once wore freshlook colors toric, but the product has since been discontinued. I tried searching online for other options and all that I have come up with was a asian/japanese themed website which offered toric colored lenses.
The site is called Eyecandy.com

But is that my only option?

Why would my Ophthalmologist recommend a bad optical store to have my eyeglasses made?

I go to an Opthalmologist every few years for an eye exam. Since he is an Ophthalmologist and not an Optometrist, he doesn't sell eyeglasses. He just writes a prescription and I have to go to an optical store and have them make the glasses. Well, when I he prescribed me eyeglasses several years ago, I went to a Pearle Vision to have the glasses made. When he found out during my next checkup that I had them made over there, he wasn't happy. He told me to never go to chains because they tend to do a very bad job. So, a few years later, when my prescription changed, I listened to him and had the new prescription done at a non-chain optical store that he personally recommended himself. I had one pair of eyeglasses made and one pair of sunglasses made there. Well, it didn't take very long for the sunglasses to have issues. The lens kept falling off the frames. And few years later, the coating on the regular eyeglasses started to wear away. Two fails! I've NEVER had these issues when I used to go to Pearle Vision to have them made.

So why would my Ophthalmologist recommend this terrible non-chain optical store instead of Pearle Vision, which has always done a great job with my glasses in the past?

Wearing a tinted contact lens to defeat the color blindness screen at MEPS?

I have contemplated a scheme where I may wear a red tinted contact lens over my non dominant eye to MEPS in order to defeat the color vision test. I'm red green color blind.
Is this unprecedented? Could the deception go undetected or will the eye examiner notice I'm wearing a contact lens?
