Am I cleaning my contact lenses case correctly?

So I dump out the solution, rinse it with very hot water, use very little liquid anti-bacterial soap and then rinse it again, and let it air dry, then close it.Is this right? I want to make sure that I'm doing this the correct way. Thanks in advance for your help!
Added (1). EDIT: I forgot to ask something else. Let's say in the morning I put in my contact and clean the case as stated above, I don't put solution in it again right? I just put in solution at night when I'm storing the contacts again?

Not sure if I need to wear glasses all the time?

I recently got glasses and my parents are forcing me to wear them cause i cant see things clearly from far away. I cant see letters from far away but can see objects clearly. When im at the movie theatre i have no problem watching the movie i can read clearly like books and things. But my parents act like im blind or something and i cant see without glasses even though i can when i ride to school with my mom in her car i see the road, cars, and signs just fine without having to squint my sister and parents think im squinting but its just how i look i dont keep my eyes wide open.At school i can see the board but if they put it at 11 font and im sitting at the back of the room nobody can see that unless they have eyes like a hawk. Plus it sucks cuz apparently i have the same lens as my mom and she only sees blurriness from far away but i see like i have described before i can see objects but not letters and numbers.

Basically, i really want to wear colored contact lenses, however i am worried that i might damage my eye! I am short sighted, and i all ready wear glasses to look at long distances, btw am 13.So, would it make a diffidence if i would wear them occasionally?

Would visual hallucinations when not wearing glasses be in focus?

I know that when a person, not wearing their glasses/contact lenses, takes hallucinogenic drugs they do not see open-eyed visual hallucinations in focus.

I am wondering whether this is the same for person that have a medical condition causing them to hallucination (e.g. Charles-Bonnet Syndrome/Dementia/Psychosis/Certain Seizure types)?

Straining eye problems!

My eyes started straining two years ago when I had trouble reading.My eyes would focus then unfocus, prompting me to put the book away for a couple of minutes and try to read again later. This happened for 3 months until my mom finally gave in and took me to the eye doctor. They took a thorough test and said that nothing was wrong with my eyes and I'm good. I thought maybe I was over thinking having bad eye vision and I was being a hypercondriac but last year I've been having problems with wearing random non prescribed glasses. I'm a fashionista and the 3D glasses WITHOUT lenses "look" that was in last year hurt my eyes like crazy! My eyes would hurt so bad that I felt like I was havin migraines for like 5 days. I had the same experiment with protective goggle, this year, that I HAVE to wear in physiology for the week long project. I kept complaining to my teacher how they are soooo painful to my eyes and we tried some other glasses that she had. They still hurt my eyes like crazy! I haven't worn those goggles in 3 days and my eyes are still irritated. I can tell you now that I'm not a hypercondriac but in fact having real trouble with my eyes, but nobody believes me! Not even my teacher because those 2nd pair of goggles help EVERYONE who can't wear the first ones :( What do I do???
I'm 18 by the way. Sorry for the horrible grammar, I'm really working on it :(

Why do my contact lenses sting my eyes when I put them in?

I've been wearing contacts for about a month now, and I've only been using them about four days a week. They've been fine but for the last few days when I put them in my eyes begin to really burn (to the point where I can't open my eyes), and they go all bloodshot and watery but after about 20 seconds they're fine. I've checked and they are not inside out and they are the monthly lenses, but I've been looking after them properly and make sure I've washed my hands with soap and then use hand sanitiser before I put them in and take them out. I don't think it's the hand sanitiser that's got on the lenses either, because I've been using the same hand sanitiser for a month and it's only just started stinging my eyes this week. Should I stop wearing them???

I just started wearing bi-weekly contacts and when I take my contacts out of my eye and put them into the contact lens container do I have to put it into new solution?

Is it okay to wear contacts for a few days after a month?

I ordered my next contact lenses about 2 weeks ago, it should of been here by now, but the company rang me up saying it might take a bit longer then expected, so it might be a few days late.

Would it be okay to wear the contact lenses for 2-3 days more after you were suppose to finish wearing them? Its mainly cause, I have quite a lot of important things on and would obviously need to see clearly, if I was going to be home, wouldn't be a problem.

But anyways, would it cause any damage to wear them for a few days only this one time?

Added (1). Because this was my first lens prescription, the one I have now was a trial and I had to wait till the Optometrist to give me my prescription so I could actually order them. I ordered them as soon as I was able to.So no, I didn't wait till the 'last minute.

I need an opticians help asap, or people with contact lenses?

I've got a prescription for contact lenses, and I'm going to buy them online as it comes out cheaper than buying them at the opticians (for the same brand) and at my opticians I have to set up a direct debit which I don't want to do.

Anyway, I'm up to the prescription bit on the website and it says base curve, diameter & power for both the left & right eye, with a drop down menu with different numbers. However, on my prescription, it doesn't say base curve, diameter & power, it says sph, cyl, and Axis. Which is which? The different words are where I'm stuck.

HAIRSTYLES FOR GIRLS.?

Ok.now i am in eighth grade and now at last i am free to make any hairstyle.could you sugest some cute hair style in the same time it chould be decent ( not too fancy or open hair ) and could you also tell how to make my face pretty … some make-up tips ( very light makeup… VERY LIGHT).

Why are my new prescription glasses causing me to see things skewed and at distorted?

I am very frustrated at these new glasses I got are causing me to see things very weird and almost caused me to have several wrecks today. I got a new prescription from my eye doctor and he said my prescription was not so much of a difference than my last pair of glasses… but my new glasses are of a different shape lens than my old ones. These new ones are kind of a narrow wider frame glasses as my old pair was a small oval shaped lens. Could the different shape of frame and lens cause this problems? I am seeing things like a square box look like a trapazoid or parallelogram in stead of a perfect square object. Things seem to flare out towards the bottom. I included a link where I sketched out how I see a square.

I am also noticing when you look at something it seems closer than it actually is..and things seem so much smaller. I have a 30" computer monitor and now when you look at it, it looks like half that size. I was told to wait a week to see if eyes get adjusted to this but I think there is no way this is normal and it will never make an adjustment to get used to this, Do you think maybe that wider frame glasses are not made for my eyes and I maybe should have prescriptions in a small oval shaped lens? I wanted to go back to an oval shaved lense at the eye doctor but he did not have any frames in an oval like I had..just in the small narrow wide frame which I posted a link for you to see which is causing this problem. I need all advice on what could be the culprit of this.

By the way the lenses are polycarbonate on the new lenses… also they were poly on my old prescription also. Lense prescription - R-5.00-1.75X08
L-5.00-1.25X013

Added (1). If not use polycarbonate then what other choices are there to get a very thin lens? Wouldn't other lenses be way too thick and heavy for my prescription? Why would an optomostrist recommend poly if they harm your eyes and cause you to see everything distorted?

Can you get a dry eye contact stuck behind your eye?

After I take a shower my lenses get dry like stuck to my eye.usually I put solution in my eyes and they are back to normal, well after my shower, i ended up going in and out of a nap.when I completely opened my eyes 20 minutes later I noticed my right eye contact was missing. I looked in all over my eye didn't feel it. I felt some discomfort but I thought it might be due to me feeling all around for the contact and the dryness. I looked all over for it where I feel asleep, in my hair, clothes everywhere but of course they are pretty hard to find.due to the dryness of the contact could it be somehow stuck behind my eye! thanks for all the answers :)

I have extended wear contact lenses by a company called special eyes. Since my vison is so poor they cost 110.00 per eye. I've had them since 2010.when it was time for me to go back for my eye exam in 2011 I wasn't able to go because my Medicaid had been canceled because of my age.and now it's 2013 same scenario and I still don't have any medical insurance to pay for a eye exam so I can get more contacts and a pair of glasses. I don't work and my mother is low income so I've been stuck over the past few years

Do I have a bad personality?

Please be brutally honest. I want to know if I'm doing something wrong.

I've never had a guy like me. EVER. I'm really loud and outgoing and can talk a lot. I curse some and when it's time for class I go silent. I get straight A's and am in all Honors. I am a first chair saxophone in my band and was asked as a middle schooler to participate in a trip to Europe for talented musicians in Europe that most seniors didn't get. I'm apparently funny and nice, because I've been told this. I would say I'm okayish looking? I'm tall, pale, skinny, have curly brown hair (usually pulled back or straightened.) have green eyes (one is slightly lazy and doesn't have a lens.It usually takes months for people to notice.), and am considered the "Trendsetter" which means girls copy my clothes and hair to almost the exact, and "Girl who everyone likes but isn't super popular". I've never had a boyfriend, my first kiss, or even a guy that liked me (that I knew of).
I've had two crushes. I am very giggly around them but I don't act very different. I hug them occasionally in the hallways. (Jokingly not like forcing a romantic embrace, a quick hug and run.) The first one (who I still like) usually reacts by moving his arm to get me off. The one I used to like but not anymore said "GET OFF ME! STOP JESUS!!!" And not like 'I don't like that, stop' like a three year old throwing a temper tantrum. I immediately lost all feelings for him and called him a douche and walked away. I am more awkward around guys because I'm self-conscious, but I act confident. Most people don't even know I'm self-conscious.

I'm just worried I'm doing something wrong, I flirt but not much. I'm not skanky either.Am I? Or am I ugly? Or am I just not looking hard enough for someone?

I'm concerned because no boy has shown interest. I feel likes its my fault and I'm ugly, or that I have a bad personality. Please be honest and don't be afraid to be brutal. I want to know if I'm doing something wrong.

Taking creatine and protein an have had blurry vision for 3 days now?

Just started a new brand protein shake before this. I wear contact lens and tried switching to a new set, didn't work, also tried taking eye drops that remove protein deposits and I can't quiet tell if that helped as I just tried it once today, I stopped taking the protein shakes immediately and cut back on the creatine as I been in the same kind of that for a year no issues. Anyone else experience anything like this? Did it resolve?

Which color contact lenses should I buy?

Okay, long story short I realized I look sort of like a nerd with my glasses, which is pretty depressing. :P
So I decided to buy a pair of contact lenses for myself but I'm not able to decide the right color to pick.So which color do you think goes best?

What is the best Colored Contact Lens Brand?

I want to try colored contacts.what's a good brand though (please include comfort and price)? I have extremely dry eyes, to the point where contacts get stuck in my eye. For clear contacts, the brand that has worked best for me in encore100 (I think acuvue was alright too). Also, I can't wear circle lenses.so don't suggest that please.

Contacts for astigmatism?

I have an astigmatism and I'm just curious about how I should order contacts if I decide I want them.My Rx is -1.00 in both the right and left sphere, +1.00 for the cylinder in both eyes, my right axis is 160, and the left is 010.

I've seen that acuvue and other brands have lenses for astigmatism but the options aren't an exact match to my rx… Has anyone had any luck figuring this type of issue out? Also could I get away with non toric lenses? I will be sure to ask my ophthalmologist if I decide this is what I want. I just thought I'd try and get an idea of what to do here…

Eyeliner for contact lens user!

I don't usually rub eyeliner on my upperlid waterline. I only rub it on my lower lid waterline. But i was wondering if it'll b an issue if i do rub it on my upper lid? Coz it luks wayy prettier. But would it irritate my eyes and stuff? I use soft lenses.

If you wear non-prescription glasses, will it hurt your eyes?

I'm on spring break, and the week I get back is Spirit Week.So I wanted to go shopping for "Twin Day" with my friends and we decided on buying a One Direction T-shirt and an "I ♥ British & Irish Boys" sunglasses without prescription in it. I told my mom, when I got home, what I was going to be wearing, and she told me not to wear the glasses for a long while or else it'll damage my eyes. I. then, decided that I was going to pop the lenses out, but she told me I might break it, causing my friends not to have fun and wear it just because I don't have it.So, if I wear non-prescription glasses, will it really hurt my eyes?

My eye glass prescription is for progresive computer lens?

After receiving the glasses (from lens doctors) I tried them on and they were the wrong prescription. They returned them and ordered another pair. When these came in the left eye was blurryy. After a couple of trips back to lens doctors, and "re-adjustments" they agreed that the left lens was "made wrong" … they sent them back again. Before sending these back, I let them know that they didn't feel like "computer glasses" since my field of vision when working on my computer is small both inheightt and width… they confirmed that they are "computer glasses" prescriptions. How can I verify this?

Im slightly colorblind in my right eye, how did that happen?

I have been told that i never have been like that when i was younger (im almost 16) and then ive started to notice that the colors in my right eye doesnt really see red as properly as it used to, and in my left alls good.any ideas how that may have happened? or could i wear a contact lens to make it better?

Contact lens making me sleepy?

Sometimes, it even gives me headache.Im not a new contact lens wearer, but i have been suffering from this for the past 2 years.

when i take off the lens, the mild headache will disapper and i will no longer feel tired!

Why are Ophthalmologists quicker at eye exams than Optometrists?

I'm nearsighted and I've been to two Optometrists. Both of them constantly had to switch between to lenses to determine my vision. You know, they're like, "which is better, 1 or 2?" and so on… They have to keep switching for a while until they can determine the right prescription for me. But recently, I decided to go to an Ophthalmologist and the guy was so quick. He just switched lenses a few times and that was it! He was so quick!

Why the difference? Could that Ophthalmologist be THAT good that he was able to determine my vision so quick?

Which contacts should I get, Acuvue Oasys or Biomedics XC?

Ok, a few months ago, I had to get me some glasses. I went to America's Best, and while I was there I though I would try some contacts as well.So, I got both glasses and contacts. Glasses where ok, but the contacts where bad. They gave me Sofmed 55, really seemed like there cheap kind.It was only like $100 for a years supply. But, I don't mind cheap, but when I started 12 hr.shifts at work, my liking of the contacts went south. About 1 am in the morning I was busy working and my contacts started to hurt, I guess you call that drying out. The re wetting drops did not seem to work very well at all.So, then I tried to get some new ones at Americas Best and they where like it is already past the date that you can do that. Ok, I understand, plus I hated the service there, and I know have VSP insurance so I went to a real eye doctor. I got much better service from the doc. He gave me two different trial pairs of contacts, Acuvue Oasys and Biomedics XC. They both work great but now I have to decide witch ones I should get. Now, the Biomedics XC are cheaper, but after about 7 days I already riped them, and the doc said that they will rip easier. But, I can get a box for $14, instead of the Acuvue for like $34. The Acuvue you can either wear them daily or 6-7 days with out taking them out. Now I like that thought that if I want I can keep them in because of a trip or just because I can.So, any one have any ideas?

Best Lens Tint Color For Sunglasses!

So recently had to start wearing glasses and need them while I play Tennis ( highschool \ juniors player ) and am greatly disadvantaged when I dont wear them ( turns out my vision is more blury and less responsive than i thought ) but the sun really cuts into my eyes and kills me especially on my serve.

So what lens color works best for cutting out direct sunlight ( when i toss the ball essentially goes straight into the sun during a good part of the day and still goes right through its path earlier or later in the day ) and also need them to be a color that wont cut through my vision while hitting in a rally as well.

So what color will cut down on direct sunlight but keep my vision sharp while i play? ( these will be prescription )
Added (1). Also for a side note, how are blue lenses in this aspect? just wondering.

Is it possible to get half glasses?

This is a little hard to explain, but today I just got my new glasses and I'm close-sighted. I can see pretty far now. But, my dad threw a fit because he said I should have gotten half glasses? He said they made glasses with half a line: The top half let you see far, while the bottom half was just lenses so you could see close. Hence, you could wear them all the time! He also said if I keep taking them on and off I could hurt my eyes.

I didn't know if they did this… So I asked the lady who gave it to me and she just said,"Just wear them to see far, and for close take em' off."

She really didn't give me the answer I wanted… So is there such a thing? What's it like? Please answer. I want to get this settled.

How much will lense eye exam, and one year supply of colored toric lenses cost?

I known that i will need the toric lenses but i wanted to known if i want to change my look how much will it will be. I live in Virginia and i would want lense that can be worn over night, so no accidents. I would really appreciate will someone can tell me how much would be one year supply and exam will cost.

Can I get free Contact lens fitting with eye exam?

Hi,

I want to get contact lenses but my insurance covers only the prescription. I know I could get a free contact lens fitting if I get a supply of 1 year but I am new to contact lenses and just want to try those for some time and I do not want to waste 1 year of supply.

My only choice is to get the fitting free with the prescription. I live in Toronto Canada, Can you suggest me any place where I could get a free fitting.

Is this a real bad prescription change?

I have a daughter in 10th grade of high school. Recently, the school nurse sent home a note that she was having trouble seeing the board and failed an eye screening. I just got home from the optometrist. He said she got MUCH more nearsighted and needed MUCH stronger glasses. I have 20/20 vision.My husband has weak glasses.Is my daughter's vision a major concern? Her old glasses that she got in September are (R eye) -7.75 sphere -1.75 cylinder 75 axis (L eye) -7.00 sphere -2.00 cylinder 110 axis. Her new prescription reads (R eye) -9.50 sphere -1.75 cylinder 80 axis (L eye) -9.00 sphere -1.75 cylinder 100 axis. The Dr.also said I shouldn't be surprised if her new glasses have flat lenses because that's how they are usually made in her new prescription. I don't understand that -- if they are flat how can they be prescription?

Im debating to get contact lenses?

Im 13 nearly 14 i wear glasses and i hate them, i really want contact lenses, i have really rubbish eye sight so i would wear them 5 days a week for about 7 hours, i know it seems bad for a young girl, but i hate my looks and glasses just make them worse:( is it ok to wear them that much? should i buy new glasses as well because these ones are all scratched? help wanted, btw i live in the UK, thanks ASAP

Can I wear someone else's contacts?

So in about an hr and a half i'm going out with my friends and i'm out of my contact lenses(i have one day disposables) and i was wondering this bc my glasses are broke and i'm basically blind without one of them. Eye glass lenses minor scratch! expensive to fix?

I got $500 eye glasses only 3 months ago, and today they fell on the concrete and got minor scratches on them, i can't see them when i wear them but its disturbing to know by expensive glasses have imperfections on them:(

Can i take them to the op' for a buff n polish for free or do i have to pay? i don't want mum to find out, she'll flip out because i told her if i got expensive ones i won't wreck them: S

Nonprescription circle lenses?

Is there a site that sells non prescription circle lenses? And can you wear circle lenses with prescription glasses? I know I can get the lenses with prescription but I don't always like going without wearing glasses.My face feels naked. If that makes any sense.

How long can i stretch out my daily contacts?

Okay sooo… i got a 5 day trial of dailies lenses, i only have 2 pairs to last me 6 school days since my follow up isnt until next saturday.i know that theyre meant for only 1 day, but how many days can i stretch the contacts use without some serious eye infections? Btw, i have a walgreens extra strength daily cleanser, and walgreens saline solution, and im a teen. (Idk if that makes a difference)

I have purchased contacts online but they always come in packages of 6 pairs and i want to buy a single pair of Regular colored or clear (prescripted) contact lenses. Colored toric lenses?

I wanted to try some colored contact lenses. I have astigmatism. Therefore, i have to wear toric lenses. However, colorblends only offers colored toric lenses for low prescriptions.My prescription is around 6 (which is on the high side :/ ). Does anybody know any brands i can buy that offer colored toric at high prescriptions?

Why cant my contact lenses work underwater? HELP?

I want to be a lifeguard therefore I have to become CPR certified. During the test I swam 12 laps without stopping which was fine I kept my eyes closed the entire time. Then they dropped a black brick in the deep end of the pool and told me to retrieve the brick. The problem is I wear contacts and when I went underwater to find the brick everything was blurry. I got reassigned for another class but what can I do? I really want to pass this class.

Contact lenses and sports?

I want to wear contact lenses for when I play sports, but my dad won't allow me.
He says contacts aren't good for kids and teens eyes because our eyes are still growing and we should wait until we are 18+, and contacts make your eyes not good and messed up if you wear them too early (I'm over 12).
I don't think that's true because I did some research and you can wear contacts at ANY age and plus some kids in my class last year wore them.
so I need some clarification about
-whether contacts are good to wear if your a responsible teen/kid
-how much are they (yearly)
- are they cheaper than eye glasses or not?
- will it mess up my eyes? (I know they will mess up your eyes if you take bad care of them, but will they be fine besides that?)

I think my dad is over-reacting. I just want to wear them when I play sports, and I think its better for me to wear contacts than glasses when I play sports because I had times when my glasses would fall off during basketball and break.
ps.my eyes have never had any damage or problems with them, so I think im absolutely fine with contacts.

Will my glasses shrink my eyes?

I'm having new glasses made that were sent out.It will take two weeks for them to come in because of the lenses that I need. They were sent out to a lab.My new prescription will be -8.00 and -7.00 with 50 prism base out so split between both eyes is 25 prism. Since the lenses can't possibly be made that thick I also will have fensel stick on prisms over my lenses. I'm nearsighted (myopic) and read at newspaper print my doctor told me. For those who don't know what prism is, it is a type of lens that bends light.It moves things for people who have double vision. One prism diopter is equivilent to one centimeter. Prism is not made into contacts. I was told that my glasses are going to look ridiculous because of the fifty prism diopters that my vision requires.My glasses are going to be made. I obviously have to wear my glasses constantly. I can't have contacts made because prism isn't made into contacts. Please do not suggest any surgeries or Lasik because not only do I not like the idea of something inside of my eyes but also I know a lot of people still need glasses afterwards. Lasik will not help me with my eyes crossing. I have a muscle spasm in my eyes and a muscle problem.It's just how my eyes are formed.My vision flucuates.My question is will my prescription make my eyes appear smaller and shrink my eyes? How ridiculous will I look wearing 50 prism split between both eyes? I haven't had so much prism before so I'm not sure what it will look like.

Will glasses make my eyesight worse?

Have just been to optician and found that my left eye is -1 and right -0.5. If I wear glasses to correct this will my eyesight gradually get worse therefore requiring me to wear stronger lenses? If I don't wear glasses will my eyes start adapt so that they can return to normal vision? 17 years old.

Can i reuse my 1 day contacts?

Okay, so yesterday i got dailies aqua comfort plus 1 day contact lenses, and i only go the trial that came with 5 pairs.i have a contact case and a walgreens brand extra strength daily cleanser solution that says, "a daily cleaner to remove proteins deposits, lipids/mucus and oil based makeup from contact lenses". if i use that solution and treat them like 2 week contacts, will i be able to reuse them?

I got a computer and was on it for ages, I was so excited by it, then I need glasses, really weak lenses, as by eyes wern't that bad then.It was about 5 years ago. Since, my eye have gotten soo terrible. I can't see anything without my glasses on!!! I look at iPads or mobiles all day and I'm up really late on them.Is this y they r bad? I HATE WEARING GLASSES!!!

Where in or near Elk County PA. can I get good prescription eyeglasses?

I went to WalMart Vision Center. I like Dr. Fatula. He did my eye exam. But my eyeglasses are messed up. I called the vision center and they were so very rude. I have progressive lenses and I do understand how they work, but the prescription is off for the middle part, like looking at the computer. I cannot even wear them for the computer no matter how I position my head.My eye is hurting also from the strain of the prescription being not right.

I don't know If she likes me or not.

I caught her starring at me in class every-time I look at her.

Well usually we would take a look in the eye at least twice in class but never talk to each other.

First I used to wear my glasses and she used to wear her glasses as well. Later on I started wearing lenses and that's the only time we talked where she asked me why am not wearing glasses and I said am wearing lenses.In next classes she would come to the class and start wearing the lenses instead of glasses.

I really don't care if she likes me or not but the starring thing is making me nerves.i don't like ppl starring at me. I even can't pee while someone is talking in the toilet.

Filming someone in their home without permission?

I used to work in a sales office where a very unscrupulous girl constantly spread maliscious gossip about me all lies and also filmed me in my flat from outside it is a compromising video and she must have had a long lens etc she is using this and all the gossip to stop me from getting other jobs by gossiping with people who work there ( she was very jealous of me otherwise we had no contact she just wanted the section for herself and also enjoys bullying i am not the only one she has done this to) Is there anything i can do about this is it legal? or criminal?

What color of colored contacts should I get? - 1

I need to get new contacts for my eyes, and I've decided I want to try colored contacts just to do something different. If I get Acuvue lens should I get the "Jade Green" or "Pearl Grey" color.My natural color is blue. They look like they have a little bit of grey in them when I'm in a certain light, then in other light they look like they have a little bit of green in them, but pretty much they're just plain dark blue. Which lens do you think would look best on my natural eye color? Oh and I'm a guy with dark brown hair if that means anything.
Added (1). Also, I forgot to mention that I'm pretty light skinned (if that helps you decide on which eye color is best for me), but I get really tan in the summertime. I also want which ever color will standout the most and make people notice them. Thanks!:)

My contact lenses turned blue?

I have these permeable contacts that you can wear for a month. Anyways, I opened a fresh new packet today. They were both clear. I wore both contacts for the entire day now, and now when I removed them to soak in the case, one of them was still clear, but the other turned light blue on the sides. They don't look dirty or anything, just like the plastic itself got tinted blue.

Is this normal? Why did this happen?

Why is my toric lens so uncomfortable?

MY optician gave me a sample lens for my left eye, which has an astigmatism, though I don't know how bad it is.It doesn't hurt and I do have it in correctly, but at times it feels like there's something in my eye, and I can also see the edge of the contact as it does tend to shift, but this happens rarely during the course of the day. He said I need to have a toric, but I would really prefer to revert back to regulars if it's going to keep feeling this awkward on my eye.
