What do I do to see?

I have two pairs of glasses. One of them I wear all the time and the other one I hate because I got them when I was young and I didn't know what I was doing. My blue ones broke so my mom got them and took hem to the eye doctor. They said they could fix the frame but the lens prescription was expired so they would have to get my eyes checked for new ones. They are booked up and so I can't get new ones for a month that means I have pretty glasses with just a frame, and ugly glasses ( ugly as f*** ) that's prescription is expired. I wouldn't wear the ugly ones even if they had a good prescription though. I'm going to KYA and so I need new glasses by tomorrow, but nope. What do I do to see

I bought some circle lenses and my parents found out and i got in trouble and they said i need to get my money back somehow but i dont know what to do? Should i email the seller and ask to cancel the shipping? Do i just wait until it gets to me and then i return it? Please help me!

How long does the pain of an eye stye last?

I have a small eye sty on my lower eyelid (started on Tuesday), not on the eyelid but the area of skin below the eye lid (small area).It hurts when I blink and touch it. I have been doing warm compresses with a warm towel but its still store. I went to the pharmacist and she gave me tombracyn eye ointment and eyelid cleanser.

How long will the pain last. If you look at my eye you can't see that I have it but it hurts! And I want to wear my contact lenses again!

How to trim eyelashes? And is it going to effect my eyes?

I wear corrective lenses, and my eyelashes press against them especially when i wear mascara of course. My eyelashes have been long for as long as I can remember and now they have a forced split -.- Ive never thought of this before but I hope I can do it. Help?!

Eye disfigurement from eye trauma, what are my options?

A month ago I lacerated my eye in an accident at a party. I have lost the lens in my eye and part of the iris had to be cut out and it has left the eye looking pretty unsightly. What options do I have to make it look cosmetically better because atm its hard to look at my face and seem normal.

Is it okay to wear contacts before ever wearing glasses?

So I am sure I have myopia (nearsightedness), I m not sure how much because I have not yet been to a doctor to check on that, but I can t see on the board in class and there s no way I ll read a sign with relatively regular letters when standing four meters away from it. As you know, glasses are really expensive and just the body costs over 100€, my parents can barely afford a visit to the eye doctor, let alone glasses. So I told my teacher and she suggested I buy contact lenses, which are cheaper and all you pretty much need is to know how much myopia you have and buy the contacts you need and that s it, you re done with less that 70€. I asked "don t I need to have glasses first, to get contacts?" And she said no… So is it okay to wear contacts before wearing glasses? (Just a side note, I think I have about 1.00-1.75, somewhere in there.)

Is it safe to dispose daily contact lenses in a contacts container?

Daily contacts are a 1 time use,so when your done with the lenses then you just throw them away. But since i am on my last full box of them I was wondering if it would be safe if i could dispose them in a contacts container.

I'm Alarmed: I Have Wrinkles and I am Only 21!

I am very alarmed at this. I have a wrinkle on my forehead its like a vertical crease and I am only 21. You see them when I grin. I'm a full time student and I am in a healthy relationship. I thought wrinkles were something that came later.

But there's a crease on my forehead that doesn't go. It all started when I began putting contact lenses in. At first I struggled to insert my lenses so it took me 15 mins and I had to really stretch my eyes(therefore stretching my forehead) because my eyes are really small and not wide enough. But it has been 2 weeks since I last put lenses and its still there, I thought it should've disappeared by now because I haven't really put much pressure on my forehead? But I will admit when I laugh or frown I put somuch effort into my facial expressions, I just can't help it?

I'm just worried that by the time I hit 30 I'm going to start looking like a pensioner with wrinkles.

What can I do that is affordable to get rid of this vertical crease on my forehead? Thanks.
Added (1). Should I drink more water? Because I hardly drink any.
Added (2). No, I have a vertical crease on my head for 2 weeks and its there even when I'm not laughing or frowning. Even when I'm relaxed there's a vertical line on my head since I started wearing lenses.

So apparently contacts/ lenses can cure myopia… So does that mean that my vision will get better. They say it can cure shortsighntedness so does that mean that my vision for stuff far away from me COULD get better ( have bad eyesight and am 13 yrs old)

How to wear monthly (30 days) contacts?

I got coloured contacts for 3 months, each pair being monthly. If I only wear my contacts let's say for 15 days out of the 30 I have, do I still have to dispose of them at the end of the month? Or do I wear the contacts 30 times before disposing them?

How to make a photo ID card picture large enough to frame?

I found an old photo ID my mom had taken before she retired. I love the picture and would like a copy large enough to frame, maybe 8 x12. I tried to make a larger photo myself but it didn't turn out well. How can I get a picture that's decent from this laminated ID card? I considered contacting one of those online photo realistic artists but I really just want a photograph. Any help would be appreciated.

Does a contacts prescription need to be changed to switch brands?

I'm in AcuVue Advance -6.00 in both eyes. 8.7BC and 14.0 DIA.

I'm looking at other more comfortable brands like Air Optix, for instance. They have a lower water content which will keep my eyes from drying out as much due to the environment that I work in.

Would I have to get my eye doctor to change the brand name on the prescription I order to buy some online? I just had an exam about 2 months ago, but was just starting my new job and didn't know what effect it would have on my contacts.
Added (1). I don't think they carry the brand that I am looking for in their office. Any advice on that without getting a new one?

Right eye contact blurry and irritating?!

So i recently got new monthly contact lenses earlier than usual because i had a problem with my right eye contact lenses, it was blurry and irritating. The first 2 days with my new ones on were great! Until this morning i got the same problem. Is there a problem with my right eye or do i just keep on accidentally getting dust on it?

Enlarged contact lens?

This morning when I went to put in my contacts one of them looked huge. I tried to put it in my eye and it started burning. I have no idea what happened I put it in my case last night in the solution like I always do. Anyone know what happaned?
