Is my contact lens not usable anymore?

I "lost" one lens and later found it (after ~2-3 hours) stuck to my mirror. I cleaned it in solution and put it in its case. The next day after wearing it for ~8-9 hours it slid in my eye and I think it would've fallen out eventually. I was looking at a computer screen at the time and AFAIK the eyes get rather dry when looking at screens. Is it not usable anymore or was it something else?

Did I get the wrong contact lense prescription?

While my contact lenses allow me to see clearly, i believe i was given the wrong BC (Base Curve). I used to get 8.8 from an old eye doctor, but when i switched over to America s best, my new doctor gave me 8.4 They begin to feel strange after a few days and irritate my eyes frequently. My old 8.8 lenses never did this.

Is it bad to wear tinted glasses 24/7 for years?

I have these red-tinted glasses that look very cool on me, so I've been wearing them everywhere except to bed yesterday. I even wore them indoors. I want to wear them all the time now. But will it damage my vision over time to wear these red-tinted glasses almost 24/7 over the years? Thanks.

I just got contact lenses today and I've worn glasses for 5 years. I don't plan on wearing my contact lenses to school until Monday. I am just wondering how other people will react because I will look different. What we're all the reaction you all got when transitioned from glasses to contact. Why did my contacts lenses burn so much after putting them in?

I don t wear my contact lenses a lot. Only when I go out to parties so they basically spent more than a month in their container bathed in liquid. Recently, I decided to put them on to go out. I noticed there wasn t as much liquid as before they were still humid.
When I put the lenses on, dear God I swear I almost ripped my eyes off. It was burning extremely bad.
Not the usual stinging sensation that lasts a couple of seconds- minutes.
This one was horrible and I was wondering what is the cause of that and how can I prevent this?

Why contact lenses are so uncomfortable for my eyes?

i tried all brands of soft contacts but i cant wear any. My eyes are drying out i've got blury vision… Dailies aqua are the only ones which i can wear for few hours but they dont correct my astigmatism(i bought same brand toric lenses and its torture to wear them)can somebody explain the reason? Or should i try gas permeable contacts?

Hard Contact Lens Users, Clear Care vs Peroxiclear soaking solution?

I have been wearing overnight hard lenses that are taken off during the day. My doctor gave me a Peroxiclear

Today I asked if I could use a different brand of solution than the Peroxiclear, but she said no. I would like to use the Clear Care solution since it is cheaper and easier to find.

Glasses Frames damaged by eye doctors clinic?

Added (1). I have had my frames since 2011 and when I brought them in to get new lenses, I got them back with scrapes on the frame (not the lenses). Because they are a discontinued the frame the clinic can't replace them with a copy… Can I ask for new frames and if so, will I be able to keep the frames I bought years ago?

Air Optix contact lenses aren't as clear as my previous brand?

Previously i used Sauflon 55UV which gave me extremely sharp vision. Thing is I had to switch to Air Optix, as recommended by my doctor, because they have higher oxygen permeability, which is important as i wear them all day. But, the only problem is that I dont see as clearly with them, it's as if they were -0.50 D lower than my power even though they're exactly the same (-3.00). I use them with Biotrue solution. Please help what should i do?

How to restore my eyesight?

When I was younger I had perfect eyesight, around age 11/12 my eyesight started to deteriorate. I'm now 17 and my eyesight is awful, I need glasses all the time. I'm fed up of losing my glasses in the morning because I can't see them, I used to love going swimming but now I hate it. I have used contacts lenses but putting them in my eyes irritate me. I a, thankful that Im not blind but I just really wish I could see clearly again without glasses or contacts. Are there any exercises I can do that will help improve my eyesight? Or procedures that can be done? Or even surgery to fix it. I'm desperate to see without glasses. I'd prefer a natural way but if surgery is the only option then I'll do it. I just want to see again. I consider British women and other caucasian women attractive (creamy,white skin/pinkish skin/accent/height/hair color/pointed nose, big boobs, culture)

I'm an Asian (not too brown skin, small nose, petite, black hair) trying to look British girl or any other Caucasian (Americans, Aussies,etc.)

-I take whitening capsules.
-I go to skin whitening center, to bleach my skin.
-I apply Bleaching cream and use bleaching soap.
-I imitate British/American accent.

Advances in eye treatment for hyperopia (longsightedness)?

i have a severe hyperopia in both eyes im around +8 and have been told I can't have surgery until I'm 40 which sucks. Apparently something to do with part of my eye being the wrong shape i think, it was a few months ago so i cant really remember.

I'm giving up on relationships and on women! My life is depressing?!

I'm 18 and in college and i my life is sad because everywhere I go I see ppl holding hands and kissing in public and I also see it in facebook, instagram, etc. And it depresses me because i used to have that and now I dont. My gf wanted to focus more in school and she said we should take a "break" from the relationship because shes a senior in high school and im about an hour away from her but she still wants us to be close and be apart in her life. But i'm not sure if we "BROKE UP". Anyway I know she'll never want to get back together or me to find another ATTRACTIVE girl because they like guys who are loud and outgoing while me im shy and not too social but im nice. It pisses me off when ppl say that youll get love unexpectedly and be patient but if that's the case why do other ppl especially teens on facebook post their relationships as if they're MARRIED or something and they are like "He's the only one for me" and blah blah blah. It gets upset and mad. I know ill get another girl for me because I always have bad luck and it's just a continuing cycle for me for females. So i guess i'm giving up on finding relationships with girls and im giving up on women and ill never find "THE ONE" for me nor my gf will want to get back together. One eye smaller than the other?

I have my one eye bigger than the other. This change has occurred suddenly. Is that only normal
eye puffing which can restore back to normal? But that's not all. When i lash my eyelid against the bigger eye, i constantly hear some sound like 'click' frequently.

can you tell me what may be the problem. I have been using lens for past one year and have occasionally sometimesslept while wearing it. Does this might have caused this problem? I have completed 15 years. I don't think i have a thyroid problem because i have checked 1 year back. But regarding the eye problem which i have mentioned, this occurred only 3 months back.

so please suggest a remedy.won't i get normal eyes back?
Added (1). No i am not using contact all through the day. I remove them at night regularly and replace them the next day. But for a day or two, i forgot to remove due to workload and slept. In holidays, i wear only glassesd. But during the days, i didn't remove my lens and slept at night, i found some yellow substance out of my left eye coming and eyes so dry.

i think it must have caused the problem of eye balls going inside.n i think the fat at the back of eye (which helps in positioning must be oozed out) CAUSING MY LEFT EYE ALONE LOOK SMALL.

Double/blurred in 1 lense?

I got a new perscription for my glasses recently. He said he could make them weaker and I'd still be able to see fine and I can see fine! But when I close my right eye and look with my left eye. It looks doubled. I'm not sure if this is normal or not. My left eye is already bad as it is when my glasses are off. When I put them back on my lenses correct it a little but words and numbers are still doubled/blurred a tad. I'm wondering if I should go back to tell my doctor that I'm seeing double with one eye or leave it because I'm not having any problems otherwise. Just noticed it when I closed one eye. When both eyes are open I don't notice anything unusual. I put on my previous pair to compare and it was basically the same.

Presbyopia with contact lens only?

So after a year of non-use, I decided to start wearing my contacts again. The contacts still had about two years left on the expiration but now they seem to cause severe presbyopia. I know my eyes are getting older but this is a drastic change. I have myopia with slight astigmatism that isn t reflected in the contact prescription. Did my contacts wear out or is the fate of all contact users?

What kind of contact lenses should I get?

I'm planning on getting contact lenses soon, but I have no idea what kind… What are the best brands? What are the pros and cons of daily vs.weekly vs.monthly? Also, cost is a big factor, since my parents will probably be paying for them. If it was me paying, I wouldn't mind spending more, though.
