Help I did something stupid!

So I had unprotected sex and I was under the legal age to have sex so I couldn't get emergency birth control from a pharmacy without being 16 and my doctor was too far away as I recently moved and hadn't registered locally so I lied about my age to the pharmacist at boots as I was scared running out of time and that was the only way I could see of me not getting pregnant but I made the mistake of using my old house address which I'm registered to for contact lenses which has my real age on it… will I get in trouble? I know it was wrong and I was only days away from legal age will they tell my parents? The police? I'm really scared I know I should have just made the journey to my doctors or an emergency clinic and regret lying I don't know why I did and yes I now see I am too young and immature to deal with sex if I'm trying to hide it from my parents and also because I'm now panicking over lying please help me

I cant get a contact lens in my eye… I have tried everything I have read on the internet, but either the lens pops out/folds out or my eyes start burning. They are new lenses, hands are dry and clean.Is is possible I simply am not able to wear them? I ordered a pair of coloured contacts for Halloween that last 90 days and on the first day one split three times and the other is still in fine condition to wear, I'm definitely not taking a chance on the other. So i've been using eye contact lenses for like 2 months and I still find it hard to put them in my eyes, and it takes like 15 minutes every day from me. When I wear them they're so comfortable, but the problem is putting them in! People said it's only hard first week but 2 months past till now and I still find them hard to put!

How to go about getting my prescription put into the glasses frame I want?

I didn't know how to properly word that but I found this site that supplies glasses without lenses so that you can get your prescription put in. I know i want these frames and they are really cheap but by reading reviews i know they are good quality (http://www.optical4less.com/plastic-eyeglasses/p113/)
I want to know how would i go about getting my prescription put into these frames once they arrive? I've already been to the place i got my current glasses (America's Best) and they said that they do not except outside frames? Do any other eye places accept outside frames and will they put my prescription into the frames? Will I need to have a new eye exam or can i get my prescription from my current eye place for free and have a site fill it? Lastly, how much would it cost to do this? What do you do when you get a pair of trail contact lenses?

Im new to contacts and well aware about what happens when you get them for the first time due to information that the eye center told me when i made the appointments. But, quick question, what do they make you do with the trial contact lenses that they give you? Do you put them in and take them out daily like normal contacts? Or, do they make you leave them in and sleep with them? Advice is welcome as well!

There is this girl on youtube. Her name is Dakota Rose. Everyone says she is so fake and uses photo shop to edit her photos. Its quite obvious that she is lying about multiple other things (her age, passport, circle lens, etc). But EVERYONE claims she uses photo shop to edit her videos to make her eyes looking bigger, her nose and lips to look smaller, and her face to be slimmer. But how is this possible? Left eye turned red after using Ortho-k Lenses [HELPPP]?

1st day: shadows, no symptoms of being unsuitable for the ortho-k lenses
2nd day: vision better, still no symptoms
3rd day: Opened eye… left eye can't open… hurts, put 2 eyedrops, takes it out and tears keep flowing out.

When i placed it in… it hurt a bit around the very edge part of my eye( towards my nose) ..
Could it be that i didn't place it in properly? because its only my left eye… the contacts still worked though, my vision got better.
But right now I'm suffering from a bit of pain and irritation and non stop flowing tears… and redness in the eye.

My left contact lens is irritating my eye?

I have not wore this pair of contacts long, but my left contact lens is irritating my eye so bad I can't wear the lens at all. I have tried using a few different contact solutions. (My normal solution has always worked great and a lot irritates my eyes, so I went back to my regular brand), I have kept the case very clean and there isn't a scratch on the lens. Nothing looks wrong with it. I have wore my glasses the last few weeks. I have ordered another pair but they won't be here for a few days. I really need to be able to wear these contacts in the next day or so. Does anyone know anything I can do to fix the lens?

Why does my eye burn with my contact lens in?

I've worn contacts on and off for over a year now and never had any issues besides the usual first timers trouble getting them out lol. Well, I broke my glasses earlier and put my contacts in and the left one went in fine, just a weird non painful irritation for not wearing them in over a month. The right one stung and burned insanely and made my eye extremely sore and bloodshot.It was also in a dry case for over a month because the solution drained out somehow. Would that be why it burned even though I put it in the solution after cleaning before putting it in my eye? They are 30 day lenses.

What is wrong with my eye?

Ok, i wear contact lenses, or at least, im supposed to- i haven't had one in my right eye for months now and the one in my left eye has been there for way too long. I know the dangers of not treating them properly and how irresponsible it is etc, but thats not what im asking.
Anyway, about 2-3 months ago i started to feel a kind of pressure behind my right eye, and it began stinging and watering throughout the day. Even when my eyes are closed and im trying to sleep i have to wipe tears away every few minutes.the eyeball is also very sore to touch, although my eye isn't bloodshot at all. Around the time this started happening i also began to feel a tingling, warm, strange sensation centered around my right cheek, right temple and sometimes the ear, it's happening now in fact, although whether this related i have no idea.
Does anybody have any idea as to what this might be? could it be sinus related perhaps? my sinuses are terrible but have been for a year or two. I havent been to an optician yet because quite frankly im terrified of what they'll find. Thanks.

So, I bought contact lenses but I didn't use them for a week, or maybe more. (They are 1 month contacts) They are not old yet. Today I thought I want to put them on, I put already one on and when I opened the other one's conteiner, I saw that there was no liquid!!! I remembered that I had put it, but now it was gone! And I don't know how long it was without it. When I took it, it was hard, not soft anymore and definatly wasn't in its normal form. I dyed my hair dark brown.now how to get my eyebrows looking natural?

So I'm a natural blonde, probably a natural level 8 or 7 (medium to dark blonde).My eyebrows are naturally blonde, but are really sparse and thin. From adolescence to adulthood (I'm now 29), I've been penciling in my brows, but they just look super-fake with a darker pencil and I tend to look like I belong in the 1920's, haha. I've heard that for blonde hair you're suppose to match or go darker with the eyebrow color but for DARK hair, you're suppose to go lighter, within a shade or two… I just can't seem to master the color. What type of contact lenses would be best for my situation?

After years of thinking about it, I finally pulled the trigger and got fitted for contact lenses. I'm barely on the "training type", but I've already began looking around for information and all that good stuff. I work at a place that deals with tons and tons of chemicals so wearing contacts during the week are totally out of the question. I don't even wear my glasses at work bc of it. I got the contacts so I could wear them on the weekends when I'm out and about. Now my question would be what is the most cost effective type of lense I should get?

And there are answers all over the place about the 2 week wear and monthly. Some people think they mean 14 wears instead of 14 days etc etc.So idk exactly what to do here. I appreciate all your replies!

Oh and I should add, I have slight astigmatism, however, the prescription for both of my eyes are exactly the same.So the Dr.told me I could technically order 1 box at a time bc they fit both eyes.

Hello, I am kinda stuck on my costume ( on the easy part ) I have the darksiders 2 mask from collector's edition, a black wig, red eye lenses and even a fiber glass scythe. But I really don't know what to wear to match them.the guy from the game looked like this, but I don't have time to finish the costume, in best case scenario i will buy a purple fabric so i can wear as his scarf and make that kilt thingy but I was wondering if I can try something more modern ( in the trailer he was in the middle ages, ww2 and so on, so I won't break the storyline if i just wear something more 'modern'. I have daily disposable contact lenses and I just realized that I used my last pair today! I called the eye doctor and the soonest they can have my lenses ready is by tomorrow night.

My eyes are red every morning AND NOTHING SEEMS TO WORK? help?

So it all started at work one week I work at Home Depot and they started turning on what they call a "Swamp cooler" i'm not really sure if its actually a air conditioner or not… Anyway it started iritating my eyes so I had to remove my contact lenses and wear my glasses. 
     Usually taking off my contacts for a few days would do the trick and my eyes would go back to normal but its been two months now and ever since ive been waking up every morning with excessive mucus in my eyes and they are also bloodshot but mostly only in the inner corners. Also one always seems a bit worse than the other but they alternate every couple of days.
     My eyes really dont irritate me otherwise, they feel a bit dry but nothing extreme. Ive been taking fish oil long before the problem started and they say its supposed to be good for your eyes, ive been applying eye drops for dry eyes and not the cheap stuff either… Ive also been taking allergy medication for a few weeks and i bought a new air purifier for my room and vacumed and dusted throughly, even bought new allergian resistant pillows.
     NOTHING SEEMS TO WORK! And they seem to be getting worse. Once i leave my house though they seem to get better… Redness goes away almost completley. I ordered a humidifier, maybe the air is too dry in my house? I live in California..hoping that will help but if it doesnt… any idea what the problem is?

My parents agreed that as I'm 13, I'm able to get contact lenses, which is brilliant. (I'm 14 in March).So my parents phoned my local opticians for an appointment on contact lenses, however, as they were checking my date of birth, they were like "Your son's 13! Why does your son need contact lenses so early? Are there any reasons? Is this something the doctors suggested?" (I could here the conversation over the phone btw). The person on the phone didn't sound furious, not at all, just sort of angry.At that point, I didn't understand. I need 'reasons' for contacts? Changing from glasses to contact lenses is not something a doctor suggested, the reason is just dealing with confidence and self-esteem!

So the people didn't say no, my mum just asked if she could talk to me about this first. The call ended, and now I'm wondering if getting contact lenses with no medical reasons is okay.

So is it okay? It's not that I'm not responsible for contact lenses, it's just that I may need medical reasons for them. What do I do?_?

Hi,

I was in an abusive relationship a couple of years ago (which luckily im now out of) but whilst I was with him I hardly ever slept and when I did it was light sleep or i'd wake up throughout the night out of fear…

Since then i've found a lovely new boyfriend and im very happy but I really struggle with constant tiredness and bags under my eyes, I will sleep through the night now and dont feel tired but constantly look it and I put it down to the 2 years of hell I endured !!

I've tried splashing cold water on my face each morning. I've tried things such as cucumbers, tea bags or potato skins on my eyes and tried various creams that 'claim' to reduce puffiness. I've tried makeup concealer but nothing is making me look less tired and its starting to stress me out as Im only 25. I wear contact lenses but try and wear my glasses at night to give my eyes a break. I cant afford botox/surgery so does anyone know of anything a doctor can prescribe or have tried any remedies that seem to work. Any proper advice is appreciated.

I need contact lens help!

I just got my trial pair of contacts yesterday and I was able to get them in at the eye place. They only made me take out the right contact. Last night it took me a while to get them out (maybe because they had a giant magnifying mirror) and I actually had my mom get the left one out. For some reason I can't open my eye good enough to get it out, or I always blink. This morning i was able to get them in, but I forgot to check the left contact and it was inside out. I've tried every way I could to get it out but for some reason I can't. When I looked in the mirror it looked like there was a teeny hair on my eye, but now I don't see it and I don't think it would mess up my entire vision.Is there any way to dry the contact so it falls out or something? Or will I have to wait for my parents to get home and try to take it out? I had to go all day with clear vision in one eye.It didn't really hurt, but I need this contact out.

When I look at something close, such as reading a book. I see double vision after reading, playing Xbox, doing homework, being on the computer.My friends tell me that my eyes do not look like they are crossed.So what is going on. Any tips for putting in contacts for a first time contact wearer?

I went to the opticians yesterday for a contact lens fitting to make sure everything was alright.It took the woman many attempts to get them in as my blink reflex went crazy. After the guy optician made sure I could see with them properly it was then my turn at getting them in and out, so back to the woman I went. Getting them out was almost effortless, a couple tries but not so hard. I then had to try and get them back in. All hell broke loose. When the lens wasn't falling off my finger I unconscionably started blinking and ruining the process. She's set another date for me to try again seeing as I failed that time.
When I got home I remembered a very large point: I don't particularly like water going in my eyes. I'm sitting now with a bowl of water in front of mirror and trying to drip little drops of water in my eye as I know that I'm able to touch my eye with no problem, it's just the contact lens and the solution on it itself that bothers my eye.
I don't want the reason I can't wear contact lenses be because I couldn't get them in. Are there any tips anyone has, or relevant videos that might help? Thanks so much.

Is Vogue Optical over charging me?

I got an eye exam today for $65 (fair), I picked out a frame that costs $159. The price had a small line underneath it so the guy said he could knock the price down to $130. After he used some machine (I'm guessing to measure distance apart of my eyes.) He said I could pick up the glasses later for $300 (Really? $170 for lenses?) He also said that in order to get my contacts when I come in to buy my glasses I will have to sit through a half hour session with some girl to teach me how to put in, take out, and take care of my contacts. He said this session will cost me $55, but because I am buying the glasses they will take $80 off the contacts, and after a $40 mail in rebate I can get the contacts for around $20. This means when I walk in to Vogue Optical on thursday I will have to hand out $415 on top of the $65 I already paid for the eye exam. $480 total.My friend told me that these prices are crazy. She said she walked into curtis optical and got her glasses, and the option of 6 months free contacts or a free pair of glasses for under $300. Should I just get my prescription and take it elsewhere or am I obligated to buy now that they are assembling the glasses already? Thanks.

I just had a visit with my opthamologist and she prescribed me to update my prism lenses. I now need 25 prism lenses for both of my eyes base out. I understand and know how prisms work. However, how thick are 25 prism lenses for glasses? She told me they are going to be very bulky and very thick. I was wondering what they would look like and how thick exactly they will be? Different Base Curve than my regular contacts, will it make a big difference?

I am getting colored contacts for Halloween, but the Base Curve on the ones I want is 8.6
(I am going to get these in True Sapphire: http://www.1800contacts.com/lens/freshlook-colorblends ),
and the ones I normally have (Acuvue Oasys with Hydroclear Plus) have a Base Curve of 8.4. Will getting the colored contacts be okay, even though the Base Curve is .2 higher than my normal contacts? And can someone explain to me the difference between the base curves and what effect it would have if I wore the 8.6 contacts?

I am dyslexic and have used a blue filter to read.It is annoying to keep lifting the filter to rite on the paper. I have been told about tinted lenses that I can get but my optician said they he don't believe that they work so he wont test me for them. He also told me they are seriously exspencive. So, I've been using Geo Tri Color Blue for a couple of years but my eyes get all red I think they got sensitive and I would like to make a change ( it might be the material's fault?) to see if it is the lenses fault or not. Wrong prescription contact lenses!

My prescription is -3.75 right eye and -3.0 left eye, so they gave me 4 boxes of 3.0 and I didn't realize so I just opened a box and opened the -3.0 contacts. I noticed later on and went to go return it. They didn't take the opened box.So now I have 2 -3.0's open and if I throw one out and use a -3.75 then I will be one down on my left eye. Eyes hurting after taking out contacts?

I have the daily contact lenses, and I love them because I'm able to start fresh clean contacts each day. However, most nights I sleep in them and change them the next morning. When I take my contacts out, both eyes have this pain, like something is in my eye and it only hurts and I can only feel it when I blink. When I have my contacts in, there's no pain. I tried to use artificial tears to rewet my eye after I took them out, but it didnt help. The only thing that helps is to apply pressure to the eye while their closed. Why is this happening, and what could I do to help it? I just went to the eye doctor, and while I didnt bring this up, she didnt catch anything unusual when she was looking in my eye or taking pictures of my eye.

I'm thinking of being a broken procelain doll on Halloween, so I need some advice on the clothes and the colors I should avoid. I'm thinking of wearing colored contact lens but don't know which color to get and what color the dress should be.

Are ray ban aviator glasses better then some cheap pair you find at goodwill?

Ok so i got a pair of orange lenses aviator glasses i got at goodwill for $5 and i like them, when its sunset its an amazing view and keep my eyes protected and they quality of way i see things is way better, less blurry and more clear. But are ray ban glasses a better choice? Do they protect your eyes more while still giving you a great colorful view and a great clear vision? i think the ray ban ones are cool they're expensive so i wanna know if their worth it before i order a pair for myself.are they?

Removing contact lenses with long nails?

Can put them in fine but taking them out is difficult I've long nails and scratching my eye trying to remove them ..apart from cutting nails which don't want to do can I use a cotton bud to slide them to side of eye?
Added (1). Yes it's oloured contact lenses to change my brown eyes to blue and their drying up my eyes I need them out

Can I sleep in my contact lenses? - 2

I'm going on a road trip soon. I can't wear my glasses without feeling really sick, so please, don't tell me to wear them. I have Acuvue Oasys contact lenses, and since I'd like to see as I'm coming in to my destination, I'd like to wear them. I plan to sleep for most of this 10 hour trip and I was hoping to be able to sleep with my contact lenses on. Will it be okay for just the one night? What are the chances of getting a corneal abrasion or some other problem? I can't put on my lenses in the car or a public bathroom because my parents won't let me. What are your experiences with sleeping in your lenses? Has anyone tried sleeping in Acuvue Oasys? I'm pretty sure I have Hydraclear Plus, if that helps. I'm planning on wearing my old lenses during the day, opening up a new pair for the trip to sleep in, putting my old ones to soak. Then when I get to my destination I'll change the lenses and put the old ones in my eyes and soak the ones I slept in.

I went out on a date with this one girl who really likes me. She was wearing something called "Circle lenses" where they're contact lenses that change the style and look of your eyes. I commented that she looks like she's sort of possessed by a demon when she has them on. Now she doesnt ever want to wear them again and says it has to do with what I said but I ALWAYS joke around with her about that sort of thing and actually like them.Is this a thing with all girls? She claims it is

I did the triangle fingers thing ad have determined my left eye is my dominant, but considering as i am right handed i feel it would be beneficial to have a right dominant eye for shooting. I wear contact lenses in both eyes

Hi! As Halloween I'm doing sort of an Alice In Wonderland gone wrong thing with some friends, and I'd like some violet contacts to go with my costume.

What do u think.well hang on before u start swearing ur smarter and im an idiot hear me out.ur eye has muscles… they contract and relax the corniar and lens inorder to see far and near, also to see in the dark and light… so if u exercise those muscles by looking at far off objects that should help.for example i noticed that if i stare at my phone for a few hours… when i look up i see nothing but blur… but if i look at my tv for hours on end then look at my phone i almost feel like im sticking a needle to close to my eyes.well what do u think can improve ur eye sight?

Halloween Party Costume Idea?

I'm 17 and this would be my first Halloween all senior party.

I decided to be a devil with a red pitch fork red horns and red contact lenses.
What do you reckon? My friend said not to over do as it is mostly just a Big party and most people would want to look good then wear to much creepy stuff.

And is their anything else I can be apart from the devil?

Why do my eyes burn and get watery? Will these work?

There are times, after a long day of wearing my contacts, my eyes start to burn and tears start to pour out.It started with one eye I thought I was getting or had pink eye, it didn't and doesn't itch it just burns badly and I start to get lots of tears. I don't know if its my contacts I wear the acuvue oasis's
kind and never had much problems until now.My eyes get a burning feeling when I wear them and when I don't. I don't put re-wetting drops to keep my eyes from getting dry so pretty much that is probably the problem just thought I'd ask.
I went to the store and bought Refresh contacts for dry eyes for when I wear my contacts. I also bought Bausch & Lomb Sooth lubricant eye ointmennt for night time. Its suppose to give me overnight relieft of severe dry eye. When I dont have my contacts on I should put drops of sooth to lubricate my eyes but I feel scared to use it especially since I used the other refresh one.
So, why do my eyes now on both eyes and get watery? And should I use the other Bausch&Lomb eye drops?

I don't want to have to pay for another eye exam, so can I just have them place my lenses into another pair of frames?

In a little predicament with driver's permit test & eyesight?

I went to take my permit test today and could not read the row of letters the man told me to read. I could see the letters, but they were too small and a little blurry and therefore I could not read them. I passed the test on the computer, but they won't issue me a permit until I pass the eye exam.

I suppose I have mild myopia because I can't read very distant things if they're too small. However, I've never gotten glasses or contacts because I don't have trouble in every day life.It's only in the eye exams at school that I do poorly on the far-away part.

I don't feel like I have any trouble seeing on the roads. I can read the signs, they are plenty big enough, and even though my vision isn't perfect (no one's is), I don't feel I need correction.

I have these things at home called pinhole glasses… they are black, plastic "lenses" with small pinholes in them… that I got a few years ago for a costume, and later found out that they actually block out most of the light entering your eyes and they make distant objects appear clearer.

Could I go back to the DMV and take the eye test while wearing these pinhole glasses? Then I would be able to read the letters, but I don't know if the man would allow that.

Or I could squint… I don't think he could tell if I'm squinting, but if he were to catch me, I don't know.

I really don't want to have to get glasses, even just for driving, for several reasons:
1) I don't even have an eye doctor; never needed one (I'm 16)
2) They are expensive
3) Glasses DO NOT fix your eyes; they only allow you to see temporarily. They actually make your overall vision worse after many years of wearing them.
Added (1). @spare… It doesn't sound like you read everything. Of course this isn't a joke, I'm being serious. I don't have any trouble reading things in every day life.An eye doctor is not going to tell me to wear glasses if I can see everything fine. That's the point that I'm getting at… I can see everything clearly in every day life, and can easily read all the signs on the road and see objects far away.

I put in my left eye contact inside out, how should I take it out? I try pinching it but that wont work, anyother methods?
