Colored contact lenses with out a perscription?

I recently bought a pair of green plus sized contact lenses for 35$ without a perscription. I know all optometrists and experts say it's very dangerous, but you know, of course THEY would. I definitely don't agree that they're safe, but I would like to know the reality of it. Can someone instruct me on how to care for them and tell me how long they usually last as well? Also, is it possible to safely share them with a friend if cleaned properly and thoroughly? I'm not planning on using them often, only for Halloween and an upcoming concert. Are these plus sized non prescribed lenses, if cared for correctly, likely to damage my eyes?

My colored contacts dry out my eyes?

So basically a few months ago I ordered colored contacts, blue circle lenses. They have a life expectation of a year and that's how long my last ones lasted. I had been wearing them for about two months with no problem but then I stopped for about a week and i've been trying to wear them for about two weeks and every time I wear them they dry out ridiculously fast and irritate my eyes… Is there something I can do to stop this?

I cant take my contacts out?

i just got contacts and putting them has been easy but i can never get them out i have been trying for 3 hours i tried eye drops rubbing my eyes and making myself cry but the lens wont move i also try to slide it off but it wont move and i am gettung so frustrated because at this point i am getting tired but really dont want to go to sleep in them also when i try to slide it or pinch it i blink almost everytime my finger gets too close so i cant move it what do i do

So I've recently began wearing contacts, I started off with daily disposable lenses. When ordering my first full month, I was quite surprised with the price. I've asked around and have done some research and found that most people find daily contacts the most difficult to put it, and less comfortable than ones that you wear for a while. I was wondering if you have to visit the optometrist to switch to longer wear contacts or can you just go ahead and order them online? I can't afford $75 a month for contacts…

Colored contacts and bloodshot eyes/red ring around iris?

I wear my colored contacts about 3 or 4 days out of the week, they are good quality lenses and they arent old, they have year lifespan on them. But sometimes when i wear them my eyes (especially my right eye) will get very bloodshot and i will get a red ring around my iris. I apply eyedrops throughout the day to keep my contacts from drying out. Is there anything im doing wrong or anything i could do to prevent this? I use proper contact solution, i wash my hands putting them in and when taking them out, I change the solution in the case frequently.

Why do my eyes have burning sensation when I wear my contact lens?

I then clean the contact lens a lot moreby rubbing it with my fingers and the burning sensation goes away. What should I change to not get the sensation?
Added (1). This sensation happens only when I am wearing the contact lenses. After some time it goes away. I never wear contact lenses overnight or more than 12 hours.

I clean the lenses by keeping the lens on my palm, and rubbing in circles with my fingers and I use the solution too. I never get this sensation when I am wearing a new lense or 1st week of the lense.

My vision is -1.25 (Australian), I'm ordering specsavers contact lenses and it's asking me for "power," does this mean I put +1.25 for the power, or is it talking about my power? Need to know ASAP! Thanks

How to actually keep circle lenses clean? Any advice helps?

I've known of Pinkyparadise for a few years, I've been wanting these 1yr disposable contacts for a while. But then I watched some YouTube videos and this girl was talking about how they damaged her eyes, and she also said there's so much bacteria that can build up on contacts in a year, and no one should wear them that long. So does anyone have experience with this? Do you think I should get them and only wear them for a couple months or something?

What is my vision uncorrected?

My contact lens prescriptions are -3.75 for my left eye and -3.5 for my right. I need to know what my vision is uncorrected. Is it 20/40, 20/100, 20/200? If you could tell what my vision is uncorrected, that would be great. Thanks.

I lost my contact lens?

I put in my right and left lenses, but my vision seemed blurry a minute after. I checked both eyes and found that my right lens had vanished. I cannot find it anywhere. I don't know if it's stuck under my upper eyelid or just fell out, but I have a weird feeling there.

I can't find it no matter what i try, can it work it's way out on its own and can this cause any infections?

Acuvue Advance W Hydraclear vs Air Optix Aqua?

I´m currently wearing Acuvue Advance w Hydraclear, but I´m gonna run out of the soon, so I´ve heard a lot of pros that the Air Optix Aqua have over other contacts, but I dunno, are they really worth it (cuz they´re more expensive). And what´s the difference between the regular Air Optix (former O2 Optix) and the Air Optix Aqua? Acuvua Advance are great but after many hours of wearing them my eyes are kinda red. Please if u´re a contact lenses wearer, answer this.

My contact lenses move when I blink?

Yesterday I got coloured contacts, when I wore them there was no discomfort or movement but when I put them in this morning I've noticed everytime I blink they move then re position themselves. I can vaguely see a small bit of purple from the coloured part of my lense on the bottom of my vision, I've tried taking it out and putting it back in but it's doing it again? Any tips?

What works be my most adjunta le prescriptions from toric to spheric contact lenses?

What does the bible say about color contacts?

I have a friend who is christian. He had dark brown eyes, and suddenly… His eyes turned out honey! Everyone at church is saying crap about his new appearance. Lets go to the point. I know its none of their business, but my question is… What does the BIBLE say about this. He needed this glasses. Even his license states he needs lenses. He told me, "If Im gonna put a piece of plastic on my eye, why not colored?" So, I really didnt know what to tell him. Please, someone who knows the matter of the situation. If you aint got nothing reasonable to say then just find something else to do.

CONTACT LENSES DAMAGED? Help! How to tell contact lenses is damaged?

This has been my 3rd week of wearing contacts, and whiten the three weeks my right contact lenses would be the dominant one (It would see a bit better then my left one). I put on a new pair and it was fine the first 2 days, now it folds (A LOT) to easily and I struggle to put it on! When I held it up to the light I noticed a little line in one of the corners. Now I'm not sure how to tell if that's a tear or a scratch.

Please Help!
Added (1). Oh and the RIGHT contact is no longer the dormant in vision, it is the left contact now.

I got my belly button pierced a few months ago and I got some cleaning stuff from the piercer but I ran out so I heard a saline eye contact solution is good. I went to walmart and bought equate multipurpose solution for soft contact lenses. It does not say a saline solution so is it okay to use?

Why are black people so ashamed of their skin color and ethnicity? - 1

I can't help but question why it is that so many black people feel bad about themselves. It's like they are crazy or something. They bleach their skin, they wear blue contact lenses, they want to be white and they think white people are gods. They aren't comfortable in their own skin and sometimes they can get skin cancer from using skin lightning creams. And whenever you ask a black person where they are from, they say their great great great grandparents were white or Hispanics. And that they are mixed but sometimes it's not always true. They forgot where they came from and they are embarrassed of their family background and ethnicities. They praise Hispanics, Whites, and Asians calling them more desirable than their own kind. They say they are more respectful and feminine. Blacks are humans too and there was a time back in History in which a white man traveled to Congo and promised a man and his wife to bring his pigmy son to the United States. This white man put the boy Jack Ota Benga in a cage in the Bronx zoo. And gave him inhuman treatment. He was to entertain the guests. And there was a public outcry.

Are contact lenses for astigmatism supposed to cover a large part of the bottom part of your eyes?

I remember my doctor giving me acuvue oasys for astigmatism as a sample and the contacts were centered around my eyes perfectly, but when i got acuvue advance, the contacts doesn't seem as center. Even when i try adjusting it or push it more up, the contact lenses go back to covering a large part of the bottom. Is that supposed to happen?

Why can i see a part of my iris inside my pupil (just a tiny bit)?

Yestarday while i was looking into my mirror i noticed that a little piece of my iris was inside my pupil. Like it got ripped or something. I am really scared.
I dont have any pain neither am i sensitive to light…
i had some colored lenses on but i didnt have any pain while wearing them.
Did i cut my eye? Wouldnt it hurt though?

My contact is curling after it dried out. Will it uncurl eventually?

So basically I guess I didn't put the lid on tight enough and my contact dried out so I put solution on it and it became soft again. Though once it was soft even though it is not flipped inside out it curls in on itself and I can't put it in. Only one lens did this so I can still use the other one. The contacts are just colored contacts so there is no prescription on them. So basically just wondering if I have to do something to have it uncurl or if it will uncurl itself.

Is it safe to wear regular contacts if I have astigmatisms in both of my eyes?

I want to wear Halloween contacts but I have astigmatisms in both of my eyes. Is it safe to wear "normal contacts"? Will it hurt/damage my eyes? I have a very little prescription, and only need contacts to make things clearer. I don't care if it doesn't help with my eye sight, if it is just for Halloween.

Dry contact lense. Safe?

I bought blue contact lenses 3 months ago, normal contacts not for vision, i opened one of them to see how it looks on i liked it, then i stored it in the contacts container (the R and L) (i only stored one cauz i didn't open the other one),didn't use it for 3 months (i forgot that i have them) i opened the container i found the lense dry (like dry fruits) i don't want to throw it away (i added contacts solution to it an hour later the lense seemed good) the other lense it still in it's package and in good condition the solution is still there. Is it safe to use it? The dry lense that came back to life? I dont have dry eyes they are actually teary

Which medical plans would be good for keratoconus?

I work for JCPenney and I have until Oct. 15th to apply for medical coverage but the thing is I don't know if their insurance would cover for keratoconus treament. I ask this because I have Kaiser Permanente and some reason they don't cover keratoconus so I have pay $205 for the exam and the contact lens would be expensive as well. I was thinking of applying for Anthem because thats what ai had before when I was a child and they actually covered for my treatment although it might not be the same for me as an adult. I'm not sure if Medicaid would be best as well. So if there is any info I could get, that would great. Thanks

Is it okay to wear circle lenses slightly torn at the edge?

So i bought these soft circle contact lenses a little under a week ago, and as i was putting them in, i noticed that there was a bit missing on the very edge of the lenses.

it looked like some tiny person had bit a tiny piece off. I put them in and there was no pain at all, but the lense did move a little more than the other one, but i didnt feel any pain. In fact, when i took my lenses out, my left eye which had the undamaged lense in, was more irritated than my right one. These are circle lenses, and the missing piece is far away from my pupils and is on the clear part of the lense, the part with no colour. Is it safe to wear them still?
Added (1). The thing is, that they're not actually ripped. Its not like theres a line going down my contact lenses or anything. It literally looks like some tiny person has bit off a bit.

I got fitted and prescribed air optix for astigmatism which work amazing and keep in mind this is my first time wearing and dealing with contact lenses so I don't know much. While these are great I would prefer colored ones but they don't have air optix colors for astigmatism they do however have this brand called freshlook toric lenses for astigmatism which are colored. Would my prescription work for these? Fyi my prescription is OD b.s 8.7 Power -2.50 CYL -0.75 Axis x180 OS b.s 8.7 Power -1.50 CYL -0.75 Axis x160

Eyeliner and contact lenses?

I wear hard contact lenses and I always put eyeliner on my water line in the mornings before school. The thing is, during the day my contacts get smudged really bad and I literally can't see anything! Then when I come back home, I take off my contacts and see the black smudge on it. I use l'oreal liquid pencil eyeliner. What should I do? Put on eyeliner first and then contacts? Or vise versa?
