Okay so i just started 11th grade and I've been wearing contact lenses on and off since 6th grade i believe. In the past i've had a few eye ulcers and eye infections. For the last few months whenever i wear my contact lenses my eyes will become extremely RED and usually one is MUCH more red and will be red around the brown part of my eye. (My eye is brown.) When that happens it feels very irritated and is very painful.no itching at all. Just pain.It kind of feels like it wants to burst. It doesn't hurt when i take them out (when they're not in i mean.), but yeah after a few hours of wearing them this happens… Also i wear make-up every day and that probably gets in my eye so i feel that could be part of the reason why. I've tried changing brands of contacts lenses twice and my eyes seemed to be calm for a while up until now.It seems i can't go a day wearing my contacts without my eyes getting painfully red… Its really embarrassing in school. I'm afraid that it could be a built-up infection in my eyes, but i'm not sure.My parents won't take me to the specialist eye doctor anymore because.idk they just don't care. Anyway if anyone has ANY idea what this could be, please let me know and please feel free to share Feedback. Thanks.
(Also, sometimes i have this thought in my mind that my eyes can't breath or that oxygen is getting trapped under my lenses making them red? In my opinion my eyes just probably REALLY need a break which i have given them, a few months at the most. And usually i wait like 2 weeks but then they just get red all over again. Please help. Thanks.)
