Can you have a child removed from custody due to immoral behavior?

I'm not sure how to accurately phrase the question so I'll briefly explain the situation: I have a 7 year old daughter who is in the primary custody of her mother, while I have visitation. What is really bothering me is that over the past three years, this woman has had no fewer that five (FIVE!) different men living with them while it seems like just about every 3 or 4 months month or so you will her walking and holding hands with some guy, and you'll take a long pause, shake your head, and say "Okay, and now who the hell is THAT?" Personally, I think it's a desperate quest to "catch up" with me since this all started after I met someone I truly felt a connection with and married her--but that is just a guess, and it really doesn't matter.

What matters is that we have a 7 year old girl who is seeing man after man after man coming through her life, walking through the door of her home which is not only confusing and damaging her emotionally, but she is also going to grow to believe that it's perfectly normal change men like you change your contact lenses! Could I use this to petition for full custody until this woman decides exactly what it is that she truly wants? This is not healthy for a child in the least bit!

In the morning I was putting on my contact lenses (silicone) and I dropped them near my sink, so I put them in solution for 5 seconds and put them in my eyes. Is that safe

Contact solution help?

Ok I got some colored contacts for a cosplay two of them a regular and the other one is sclera

The problem is, I'm not sure what kind of contact solution to get. Do I get different types for each? Does it matter what kind I use? Do I get a specific kind for my sclera lenses? This is the only problem I have and I want to get it before my lenses arrive.

If you can give me a specific type to use that would be very helpful for me!

I fell asleep in my contact lenses?!

I slept for maybe 7 and a half hours and took them out as soon as I woke up. This is the first I've done this, will I be ok? My eyes feel fine, nothing hurts, do I need to do anything? I was planning to wear them later tonight again, is that a bad idea?

What is wrong with my eyesight? - 2

I have astigmatism in both of my eyes and have had glasses since first grade. For the past about five years my vision has severely gotten so much worse. I get a completely different prescription from the eye doctor every time I go in and every time I get new lenses after like six months my eyes get almost immune to them and they get worse so I can't see even with my glasses on. My insurance only lets me get new glasses every two years but I know I need a new prescription way before that. I also get such bad headaches from my eyes having to seriously struggle to read anything more than like half a foot away from my face. It is very irritating. I honestly can't see anything.

If my contact lens dried out, can I still use it?

My contact lenses were sitting in their case and when I went to put them in, one side of solution completely drained and my contact was dried out. I desperately need these contacts for tomorrow (they are colored contacts that I ordered online and I dont think I can replace them soon enough). If I let them soak overnight can I still use them? They were in the case so not much outside bacteria could have gotten to them.

Urgent optical? Here's my Rx. Need contacts ASAP but have astigmatism. My Rx reads as follows:?

OD: Sphere -2.50 Cylinder -1.25 Axis 161

OS: Sphere -3.75 Cylinder -1.00 Axis 006

I have no clue about any of this. I tried to look it up online but couldn't make much sense of what anything really translates to in regards to my situation.

I know I absolutely have some pretty bad astigmatism in the left eye and its mild in the right. However, I need contacts by next week Tuesday and apparently, toric lenses MUST be ordered a week in advance bc they have to be tailored, etc etc…

I don't have time for that. I'll sacrifice super clear vision for a day if I can get normal contact lenses by Tuesday, which I can probably do online and overnight ship it. (I can't do this in anyones optical store because they will require to see the prescription, realize I have astigmatism, and not honor my request and tell me I have to wait a week… At least I think that's what they'll do.)

Anyway, can anyone tell me which normal contact lenses and which prescription should I order it in ASAP, please? I'll greatly appreciate it, like los of hugs, kisses, and might even throw in a cream cheese icing red velvet goodie in for ya' ;-). Thanks!

What happens if you wear disposable lenses in a water park?

Saturday I'm going to a waterpark and I use contact lenses since I don't see without them.I'm going to get extra disposable lenses to change them. I might use googles when going down the slides. What are the risks? I can't just not wear them.

Swollen eyes and prom tonight?

I've had swollen eyelids for the best part of 2 weeks now. I went to the doctors about a week ago and they gave me eye drops to use, but they haven't made a difference yet. I've consistently used the eye drops, I've used eye washes, cold compresses, I've used contact lens solution to clean the area around my eyes, I've taken allergy medicines daily, I've used an eye irritation mist spray daily and I've even invested in a red light therapy device that supposedly combats hayfever. I haven't worn my contact lenses in about 2 weeks (the puffiness is due to hayfever, not contact lenses, but I kept them out anyway.)

I intend on going back to the doctors if the issue has not resolved itself soon.
However, my problem is that I have my high school prom tonight - despite all my best efforts over the past week, my eyes are as swollen as ever.

Aside from swollen eyelids, there is nothing else wrong with my eyes. No pain, no irritation, no itchiness or red areas of skin, no change in vision. The only issue is that my eyes are really puffy and it looks ugly. Is there any way I can quickly reduce the swelling for prom tonight, aside from methods I'm already using (mentioned above)?

How to go about replacing my glasses from Walmart Vision Center?

Last May I got my first pair of glasses because I'm far sighted after to many hours of staring at a computer screen. About a week ago, I walked face first into a large piece of metal and it scraped the left lens, I've never had glasses before last year so I'm not sure how to go about replacing them. Do I make another appoint or do I just go over and order the same pair. I don't want different frames, I just need new lens and I'm not good with contacts so they are out of the question.

When I put my contacts in my left eye hurt?

I put my contacts in and my right eye was fine but my left eye started burning really badly to where I couldn't open my eye to get to the contact out. I finally got it out after a few minutes and cleaned it then I put it back in and it didn't burn but my eye keep watering and I could feel the contact in my eye. I took the contact out again but now my eye burns without the contact in. The only way it doesn't burn is when I close it.

Does it make more sense to only wear 1 contact if you have amblyopia?

I mean for someone who has amblyopia which can no longer be fixed and does not use the bad eye when the other one is open. Are they better off just getting a contact lens for their good eye, because a contact for their bad eye would be quite a waste of money right? I'm just wondering because my mom has it.
Added (1). btw i know eye doctors are probably reluctant to give contacts to people who only has one "useful" eye because contacts bear a risk of infection & can do damage to the good eye, but i was wondering what happens if they do

Can I wear my old contacts, although my prescription changed?

My old contacts have (PWR -7.00, BC 8.6, DIA 14.2). And the new prescription i got says

OD: -8.00 1-100x180
OS: -8.00 1-100x170

Contact lens for astigmatism? - 1

I have tried Bausch and Lomb SofLens and Frequency Toric. Bausch and Lomb is irritating and Frequency goes blurry every time I blink. I was wondering if Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism is any better…

My whole family just laughted at my face?

My mum saw this thing on TV. It said that the easiest way to test for eye cancer was to take a picture of your face on flash.
I have to wear glasses, my prescription is -9 and the lenses are very thick.
When I was younger she once took a photo of me on flash, on eye was red and the other was black. On this TV program, it said if this ever happens to speak with your doctor. It could be an early sign of cancer.
So today my mum made me take off my glasses and for her take a picture.
Nobody has ever seen me without glasses as I can t see without them.
When mum looked at the photo, it didn t look like me at all, because she s never seen me without glasses! She burst out laughing and showed it my 24yo brother who was also crying in laughter.
I ve never felt so humiliated, I though your family are ment to be there for you.
I asked for her to deleat the picture, I went to grab it and laughing she pulled it away and said don t you dare!
I m 15- I ve never really had alot of confidence, but whatever I did have, its gone.
If this is how my family reacts, I dred to think of how other people react when I take my glasses off.

I'm 16 and I really want to get contact lenses but I don't want them to be sore or uncomfortable. I have quite watery eyes and they water really easy even if it's only a tiny bit windy so I'm worried about that?

Can I get a refund of the eye exam cost if contacts don't work for me?

I recently visited an optometrist located in a Wal-Mart store. I paid a little over a hundred dollars for the eye exam (for contact lenses). This is not my first time getting contact lenses. I have worn them before but I stopped wearing them and decided to wear glasses for a few years.
Now, I wanted to wear contact lenses again so I went through the eye exam with the optometrist and received a trial pair to see if they are comfortable and clear.
I did not find the trial pair(Acuvue) comfortable, so I was given another pair of a different brand(Air Optix). The different brand didn't work for me. I went to the optometrist Again, and was given Another trial pair (Focus Dailies). I'm wearing these now, and I don't think these are the right ones for me.
I suffer from having very dry eyes so I'm slowly realizing that I should just give up on contact lenses.
If none of the contacts the optometrist offers work for me, could I get a refund of the eye exam (for contact lenses)? If I can't find the right contact lenses, the prescription that I got from this eye exam becomes useless… :(

My left eye is blurry?

Recently, my left eye had started to become a little blurry. I first noticed it when my contacts were in and thought that was the cause but now i'm wearing my glasses and it's still happening. If I cover my left lens my right eye is sharp but that's not the case with my left eye. I haven't been to the eye doctor for a little over the year, so I thought maybe it's possible my vision has just changed more in my left eye (my contacts prescription is -2.25 in my right eye and -2.00 in my left eye). Could this be the case? Just vision changes but I'm just starting to notice it now? Or could it be something else or something more serious and an underlying disease? I'm planning to call my eye doctor tomorrow so hopefully I'll be able to get in but I just wanted to know for right now. Thanks!

Also, right now it seems so much more blurry and I don't know what that's from. Maybe from me messing with it so much?

Are yearly contact lenses cheaper than daily disposables?

My mum keeps nagging me to just get yearly contacts since they're apparently cheaper - not that she would know, she's never gotten them.
She also doesn't understand that one of the reasons I chose to get daily disposables is because I've have an eye allergy for a while and my optometrist recommended I get dailies. She says she's not gonna pay for my contacts when I need them next if they're dailies.

After i take out my lens and place it in the storage case with solution, how long can i keep it there before i use it again? Can i keep it for as long as a week?
