How long do natural touch opaque contact lenses last?

They're so expensive. 1 vial, which contains only 1 lens, does for some $55 at the very cheapest. I'm not adversed to spending that much money as long they last a loooong time. Also, I have dark bronw eyes and am not looking for a drastic change in color, but something more subtle. WOuld hazel be the best choice? Thanks.

Can i get generic/convenience store glasses if i have a correction prescription?

i mostly need them for distance, i left my glasses home and i have to travel. I was thinking of getting a pair from walgreens or somewhere similar but im concerned the required lens are different on each eye

Does anyone know where I can get contact lenses for my prescription?

my prescription is:

Right Eye = sph = +0.75 cyl = -0.5 axis = 10

left eye = sph =+0.5 cyl= 0.25 axis= 75

I cannot find them anywhere, thanks in advanced. :)

Can i sleep with my contact lens on for one night?

I left my contact solution in my dad's truck and he won't be back until the morning, they're 2 weeks old and I don't have another pair. Can I let them dry out for one night or sleep while wearing them. I've been wearing them for 14 hrs and they feel fine. Although, throwing them out would be an option if I didn't have a driving test tomorrow and I need them for the test.

Where can I find non-prescription color contact lenses?

Some people have told me to go to the beauty supply store but I don't wanna put those in my eyes cause i'm afraid it might mess my vision up… I was wondering did somewhere like CVS pharmacy have it like Acuvue or Freshlook

Contacts made my left eye red and heavy feeling?

This was my first time wearing contact lenses. This morning it was fine and at school I didn't really feel anything except itching from my eyelashes. (My eyelashes are unnecessarily long and they irritate my eyes often). Then when I got home it was bothering me so I took them out, cleaned them, put them in solution and then back on and it felt fine. But then after a while it stated really bad making my left I feel heavy and hard to blink. It is also red along the bottom of my eye. I have astigmatism and the contacts I was wearing, my left eye was slightly the wrong prescription because they needed those shipped first but the doctor said it was fine and that I wouldn't even notice. Could that be what is irritating my left eye? It was more comfortable with more solution so do you think my eyes are dry? Is there a way I can fix this? I really want to continue wearing them because I feel a million times more confident in them. Please please please help. Thank you.

Astigmatism glasses?

I've had my old glasses for about 5 years. Just went in for an eye exam and found out I have astigmatism in both eyes. I ordered my new glasses at LensCrafters and I put them on and found it a bit odd that in certain spots on the Lens, it's crystal clear (the middle part) and other parts it's blurry to see out of. Kind of like tunnel vision. I've had lots of glasses before and have gone long periods without changing them. I've never had glasses like this. It's clear in the middle of the lens and blurry on the edges. Are glasses different for astigmatism?

Is it okay for glasses to make you see funny?

Not funny but my prescribed lenses I ordered online form glasses.com, when I put them on I see a little flatter. Like everything is shrunken. Not extreme but when I look in the mirror wearing them I look slightly shorter and chunkier, I'm not bothered by it because I can see everythingg clear but just a little concerned if it can be bad for my eyes? Does anyone know if it's a bad thing that they do that?

What type of contacts have prescriptions in -6.00?

I am planning to get eye contacts in the next few months, but I am not sure of what kind would be best. My vision is around -6.00, i was hoping to get contacts but because of my vision i couldnt find any in my prescription in my area. My sister uses acuvue and her precription is very close to mine. Also, what types of foods and vitamins help my eyes get better? Thanks

Will there ever be COLORED contacts for astigmatism?

I have been using FreshLook Colorblends Toric for more than 6 years. I have tried color toric lenes from those Korean circle lenses websites but they are just not the same. Will any company ever make colored contacts for astigmatism?

I got a years worth of contacts from the eye doctor on February 24 but i forgot to ask how long i can wear each pair. I've never used contacts before so Im assuming they're for 2 months each but when i do the math i run out in December but i assumed i would run out in February so am i wrong. I have two boxes of bausch & lomb soflens with 6 contacts for one eye in each box can someone please explain this to me and give me an exact date i should switch contacts i would appreciate it

both eyes are -1.75. Give it to me straight doc. Is my vision very bad?

am I right that the closer the number is to 0, the better your eyesight is?

so -10 would be very long sight vision, and + 10 would be very bad near sight vision? (So my vision isn't that bad?)

Want the understanding of convex lenses?

1. If convex lens of focal lenth "f" is cut laterrally into 2 equal halves. Then focal lenth of eachh part becums "2f".
2. If convex lens of focal lenth "f" is cut horizontally into 2 equal halves. Then focal lenth of eachh part remains same i.e f.
3. If two convex lenses ( or concave lenses) of equal focal lenth are placed in contact, the resultant focal lentg is… " f=f/2"
4. If a convex and a concave lens r placed together then resultatn focal lenth is f = infinity.
P.S. I em not very sure about 2nd point.
Okkk so now i hav memorized these but i wanna understand the way how we evaluate these answers or are these based on any conceptual logic?
