Can I wear lenses if I'm 16?

I do play sports and my eyes are -3 and it's reslly hard to ser without my glasses, also i started to lose my seeing close too (i cant read what it says on laptop screen or even the keyboard) some friends told me that you cannot wear lenses if you're a minor but i've read that you can, so can I?

Can i wear my dailies contact lens for 2 days?

Such a waste of contacts and so much money… 2 week ones sometimes i end up ripping and makes me feel so bad and its kinda gross but i think 2 days will be fine? I usually wear them for 15-18 hours a day so i think 30 hours will be fine since theres 24 hours in a day

And i think they are clean and moist and okay

Am I fake person for wearing colored contact lenses?

Hi! I'm 19 and I wear blue contacts. I love the way they look but I don't want people to think I'm a fake person! I do love makeup and hair stuff, but I'm also a really good student (4.0 gpa and in my 3rd year of uni). I feel like it's normal to go through phases when I'm young, but some people are like why do you wear them/ are insecure. Thanks so much!

Can I get workmans comp for prescribed glasses?

Its just a simple question I'm curious about.
I work at a daycare and I work with kids in the age of 3-4yr olds. Some turning five this coming year.
I was outside with a small group of kids and one child in the class picked up a basketball and threw it at my face knocking my glasses. It scratched The side of my nose. I had no time to react due to the fact my head was turned away after I gave countless of warnings to the child to stop throwing the basket ball at the other children. He found it funny to do it to me.
My glasses are prescribed by my eye doctor since I am blind as a bat. I had glaucoma as a baby nearly losing my sight. My glasses were knocked off and were cracked, the moment they slipped out my hands at work and broke in half. I had to get a whole new frame and lens since the Optics told me I was better off getting new ones in the end.
I'm just curious if this is something to even bother with

Are auto-darkening welding helmets safe?
Added (1). I want to know if auto-darkening helmets or fixed shade lens are safer. I don't care about speed or productivity. I am looking for some hard data showing one is safer then the other. Also, are lens shades comparable? Can't find any info other then personal opinions, most of which are about increased productivity. All I care about is what is safer for my eyes. Please only share hard data on the matter. Thank you.

Contact lenses dried out?

So I have some contacts for cosplay, they aren't prescription. I needed to get saline solution but I kept forgetting. I also didn't put them in water. They sat in the case for 3-4 weeks and they dried out completely. I put them in saline and they visibly went back to the way they are. If I clean them probably, will they still be safe?

How to put on circle lens without blinking?

I have bought 2 pairs of circle lens before, they always go to waste and dry up because I can't put circle lens in without blinking.
I've watched so many videos on how to put them on(also read many tutorials), from people with monolids, double eyelids, etc.
I try to pull my upper lid up and pull my bottom lid down, and I put the lens on my index finger(I've also used my middle and ring finger before) on the hand I'm not using.
I think this method is pretty nice, but the lens turns backward around my finger, and I also miss my eye sometimes because my lashes get in the way or I sometimes accidentally put the lens below my eye or it makes contact with my eye, but doesn't stay on(when I pull back, the lens is still on my finger).
I always make sure before I put the lens in my eye that it's soaked in the solution and moist.
I curl my lashes, but in the process of trying to put my lens in, my lashes get wet and droop again.
I have really heavy and puffy double eyelids, so they look like monolids and my lashes are constantly being pushed down by my lids.
Thank you for reading all this if you have, it's really saddening for me because I have always wanted to wear them, especially with my interest in makeup and cosplay.

I accidentally bought something online and it didn't take any of my money?

I was gonna buy colored contact lenses and I put in all of my info and a few days ago I made a account on that website but it wouldn't log me in. So when I was buying stuff today, I put in everything and I didn't know I was making a new account so I clicked next and it said that I purchased it. I didn't even put in my gift card info yet. I did that and it said that I can't use gift cards. I was a little dissapointed. Then I looked on the "My Orders" tab and I clicked on it and it said I bought it. And it just said, "Payment Method: Credit Card" Are they gonns send me a bill to my house? Or is this a glitch? Should I call the company or keep my "purchased" item?
Added (1). The website was PinkyParadise if you needed/wanted to know. It also says the purchase wasn't successful but it apparently says I bought it.

Oakley lenses Bronze polarized vs Dark Bronze?

I have a pair of oakleys with bronze polarized lenses and they are great in the sun but i dont like how clear they are looking through them, how you can see my eyes.

Contact lens fitting tomorrow. Nervous as (Bad word)?

I don't like touching my eye. Even though I won't be actually touching my eye, it's pretty close. I have an eye doctors appt.tomorrow for a fitting. I don't want to look stupid and sit there for an hour trying to put them in and take them out. What's the absolute easiest way to do it?

They gave me wrong prescription contact lenses and it s bothering me, help?

I got an eye exam couple of days ago, the optometrist gave me a prescription contact lense while they make my new prescription glasses.
The problem is, the temporary contact lense they gave me isn t strong enough. They will also have to order the right contact lense for me so they gave me what they have.

I have light sensitivity and nausea everyone I wear the contact lenses. Would using them damage my vision even more?

Seriously I looked everywhere for red prescription contact lenses. And I can t find it.

I text in the dark while wearing my Ortho-K lenses. Is that bad for my eyes?

Because recently I felt as if my left eye vision has gotten more blurry when I take out my lenses and it hurts after I use my phone for a long period of time (when the lens is in the eye). Also, the pain feels as if there's something in my eye, not the blinding kind of pain. When I feel the pain, I take it out and re-place them into my eye after. Do I have an eye disease, or is it just because I'm using my phone? And is it alright if I clean my lens case with water and dry it, or will I get acanthamoeba?

Why is one of my contact lenses irritating my eye?

I am a new contact lense wearer. I ordered colored contacts no prescription and wore them twice… Both times one of my eyes felt like there was something in it and then i took them out. It still felt like i had something in it for a few days i woke up next day w crusty and red eye both times but the other eye was fine? I love the idea of color contacts so please tell me what it could be and maybe its just the brand of contacts or some kind of advice… I clean them very properly and store them as told. I need advice on anything you can tell me maybe i scratched my eye but how? My love of wearing colored contacts doesnt have to end does it:( .im a beginner and have only tried one brand and wore them twice so i need all the help i can get!

I forgot my contact lenses outside for a day. Can I still use them?

I forgot to put them in solution for 24 hours and now I felt them and they are hard and dry. If I leave them in the solution, can I wear them later?

Why do far away light sources have a + shape on them?

looking out a window at a distant street light and the question just came to mind why do they have a streak of light perfectly horizontal and vertical? Is it something about the lenses in our eyes makeing extra reflections?

Are non-astigmatism contact lenses safe to wear if I have a slight astigmatism?

I'm going to buy contact lenses online and i have astigmatism. I usually buy these contacts without a prescription just because they are coloured contact lenses but i thought i would purchase them prescribed for me now. While ordering online they give me the option to enter each eye's prescription but I cannot put the info about my astigmatism on there. Can i get the contacts without my astigmatism info on there and still see clearer than i do now? It will not bother me if i don't see perfectly just as long as it's better than my vision now. Scratch on cats eye?

On my cats eye lens it looks either like a hair or a thin scratch. If its a hair I'm not be worried it will go but if its a scratch will it heal and disappear or do I need to do something to get rid of it please help my cat.

My glasses broke, is it possible to?

Okay so I was cleaning my lenses with my shirt. I guess I applied too much pressure to the lenses and the lens popped out of the frame, and the frame snapped. I quickly placed the lens in the frame, and wrapped a rubber band around the frame to hold the lens in place for now.
But is it possible to just go to the eye doctor and just get new frames? My lenses are perfect, no scratches or cracks in them. I haven't even had the prescription/frame for a year, so they can't say I need to take another eye exam. Plus, don't they give you a year Warranty for your glasses?
First time I've ever broken my glasses in all 10 years of having glasses.
And the frames were plastic, which does suck.

Are Scleral contact lenses the best fit for me?

Due to a high level of astigmatism I wear gas permeable contact lenses. For the first six months they worked very well, but now they are sagging and catch on my upper eyelids due to the thickness of the lenses (we have tried several adjustments).

Do you know if switching to larger diameter Scleral lens will help reduce the sagging/catching and improve their centration?

Can you put a name to this movie?

I saw a piece of a movie where there was a girl being held captive in like a basement room and the guy holding this girl would change her hair color and put contact lenses in her eyes to make it look like another girl. Every time the girl died he would find another and again dye her hair and put contact lenses on her.
