Can I be sued for selling a picture of someone without their permission?

About six months ago I was hanging out with a friend when a macro lens I ordered arrived. She suggested I tried it out and let me photograph her eye. The image can out really neat, so I edited it and made some prints of it which I then advertised to sell on my online shop. A couple days after I took the photo she asked about it, I sent her the picture and she thought it was really cool. I also mentioned my plan to sell prints of it and she didn't have a problem with it then.

Flash forward to now, me and this person are no longer friends. No fight ensued, we distanced and lost touch. Today I get an email from her saying if I don't take down the print and give a percentage of the money made from it to her, she'll sue me. Can she do this? The photo was taken in my home, with her consent, and if she had no problem with it six months ago why does she suddenly have a problem with it now?

Contact lenses prescription vs glasses prescription?

Hello just wondering could anyone tell me whether ones glasses prescription is worse/better than ones contact lenses prescription.
For example if someone was +4 in their glasses prescription would they be worse or better than this in their contact lenses prescription.

Im 17 and i have an eye floater?

It started a couple months ago when i started seeing this thing float around when i look at a white screen. I have contacts and i thought it was just a spec of dirt. I just now learned about it and its not actually dirt cause ive changed lenses. Anyways how bad is this? Is there any treatments? Will more come?

Is there any website or store that sells black sclera contact lenses for a cheap price?

I'm currently getting ready for Halloween and I need to get black sclera contact lenses for my costume, but whenever I search for some, the price is way above my budget. I was wondering if anyone knew of a store or website that sold some below $30. I'm looking for full black contacts not the mini ones, but if worst comes to worst, I'll settle for those.

Will Desio colored contact lenses fit me?

My eye doctor prescribed me "Acuvue Advance with Hydraclear" with a 8.7 base curve and 14.0 diameter. He also prescribed me Air Optix Colors with a 8.6 base curve and 14.2 diameter. The colored contacts I would like to purchase are called Desio and they're an Italian brand. They have lenses that come in an 8.6 base curve and 14.3 diameter. I was just wondering if these lenses would fit me or not? Would they feel too tight or too loose? Also, what do tight lenses feel like? Thank You!

Contact solution stings when you first try it?

Hi everyone! I just got my trial contact lenses from my optometrist and I received the Bio true starter kit with the small bottle of Bio True and the contact case. When i insert the contact in my eye, it stings and lasts for a few minutes and then goes away. IS THIS NORMAL?! Or is it because this is my eyes' first time being exposed to all of "that"? Will this eventually go away? Is it the brand of solution? If so, can you guys put some names of some nice solutions for soft lenses? Brand names and store generics are welcome!

Can you get Lasik at 22?

Well, I am legally blind in my right eye from being born with a cataract in my right eye. Then I got it removed at the age of 2, and they removed the infected lens from the eye. I use only see blurry color; now it fade from barely color to complete darkness. My left eye is getting weaker and I afraid I will lose that eye too. Which effect my career as an illustrator and writer. Or would Lasik not work. Do it matter if I am allergic to contacts as I used to wear at 3 or 4 years old and my eye swelled up and my parents had to pry them open to retrieve them. I current wear classes with huge lenses but breaking or losing them every week from with losing them or rough housing.

This is the side of my contact lens box, does this mean there out of date in 2018? My optician told me lenses shouldnt be worn after 3 years but I can't remember when I got these.

Is there something wrong with my contact lenses or is this normal?

So i have been wearing RGP (rigid gas permeable) lenses for 7 years now and I have always been getting the "having dirt in your eyes constantly" sensation. I mean it's not that comfortable wearing rgp lenses in the first place but there are just more pros in wearing rgps instead of soft lenses. I'm just wondering if there is something wrong with my lenses or this is inevitable? Because if it is, i think i'm just not cut out for rgps and may switch to soft lens (because they are just so damn comfortable).
My mother said it may be because i have dry eyes due to lack of sleep but even when i do it's still the same…

Why is my vision fine with glasses but blurry with contact lenses?

I got the same prescription for these contacts as I have for my glasses, but sometimes when I look at far stuff with these contacts, my vision becomes a bit blurry.
Is the power weak or something or am I just not used to it?

My glasses and contacts are for far views, if that helps.

What should you do if you can't find a contact lens in your eye?

My brother thinks the contact lens in one of his eyes is "lost" and not in its proper position. Him, my mom, and me have tried for about an hour to find it and haven't been able to do so. Honestly, we don't even know if it's actually still in the eye. Anyway, it's already midnight so we can't head to an eye doctor at this hour. Assuming the lens is in fact still in his eye, would it be bad if he slept with it overnight this once and then headed to the eye doctor tomorrow morning? We've tried eyedrops to try to bring it forward, but nada. Are there other tips you might give? And if not, would one night be so bad? Urgent:T

Good Red Sclera Lenses?

I am going to a convention for a few days soon and I am to be cosplaying a Dumner from Skyrim, and incidently I am really into their bright red eyes. So I have been looking for sclera lenses that give the same glossy, slightly transparent effect and every pair I've looked at have been way too opaque. So will I just have to bite the bullet and go for their black eyes/ have crazy red lenses or just give up all together?

Since I am already getting lenses to correct my vision, I started to think about changing my eye color. Considering how I have brown hair and brown eyes, which would suit me better:green or blue? Added (2). So far Robert McNamara seems a more likely answer as he was the defense secretary at the time… However in every photo of McNamara I have found so far he was wearing glasses. I don't think people had contact lenses at the time?

What type of glasses should I get?

So tomorrow I'm getting new glasses and I don't know what frames to get and what color to get. I asked my mom and she kept saying "because of your skin tone, the shape of your face, your flat nose," and she kept saying stuff about my face and she said that it matters on what I look like. So here's a description of my face(?)

I have tan skin. Just google "indonesian people" and look at images. That's my skin (and my race ;D)
I have round eyes and a round face. I have fairly large eyes. And an oval like face.
Lastly, I have a "baby" nose. I just call it a flat nose so yea.

I don't really like my current frames and I want really good ones for the upcoming school year. Thanks!

I currently wear CibaVision Dailies Aqua Comfort Plus, but should I spend a little extra to get toric for astigmatism? Or will it not be that much difference? Photo is my prescription.

A query to Eye Doctors/Optometrists?

I am air-pistol shooter which requires me to focus on Sight Picture about.75 meter away. But my eye tends to focus on far distance target which impacts my shooting. I have to make extra effort to focus on near-distance sight.

Senior shooters has advised me to wear +.75 diopter lens which will make my eyes focus on near sight automatically. I dont need to wear spectacles as my sight is perfect.

Would it harm my eyes if I wear a lens of.75 power 3 hours daily.

TINTED contact lenses?

I'm looking to buy Green tinted contact lenses. NOT COLORED. I already have green eyes, I just want to enhance the color. I used to buy Focus Softcolors in Evergreen but they've been discontinued. The Freshlook ones are horrible because they are turquoise. And Air Optix Colors have that pixelated pattern on them which is exactly what I want to avoid. I don't want patterned colored lenses, just tinted ones. Please help!

Saline solution for belly button piercing?

I got my belly button pierced almost 2 months ago, I have been using dial gold soap on my belly piercing, sea salt soaks everyday, but it still is alittle red, has something coming out of it every once in awhile. Am i able to use contact lenses saline solution?

How to take an eye exam?

Today i went for my second eye exam and when i was reading the letters off i couldnt really see the letters in fine detail. I was kinda familiar with the shape and outline of the letter and just guessed what it was. Will my prescription not be strong enough now? If i call and tell the doctor will they make me pay for another eye exam or just redo it.
