I have a pair of lenses as well as glasses, and I only wear contact lenses when I have somewhere really important to go. It's been about 2 months since I last wore them and I have been storing them in a case with Biotrue solution. I haven't opened them or anything for 2 months. Can I still wear them?

I can't get my contact lenses out?
I've been wearing contacts for a few years and this has never happened before. The left contact came out easily, but whenever I touch the surface of my right eye to take the other one out, it burns really bad and makes my eye super watery to the point of tears.
It's been almost an hour and I just want to get this lense out. This has never happened to me before this bad. What can I do?

Do glasses make the person looks ugly?
I used to wear a lot of contact lenses so no body really related me with nerdy type. I had a little bit of insecurity when I was wearing glasses. I thought they made me uglier and appear nerdy.
Now I am trying to change my perceptions because I really need glasses in my life and I will need to be happy with it. When you see an attractive looking person, does glasses make them look uglier or sexier?

Contact lenses in very hot room?
Hi, recently let my contact lenses pack (dailies) in my handbag a few inches away from the radiator for a few hours. When I walked in the room it was very hot (small room) I was wondering if they re still safe to use. I phoned my opticians and they said check if they look okay and if so use them if not don t but I probably cant tell what or what they shouldn t look like? Has anyone else done this?

Is it rude to ask if someone is eyes/hair/teeth, etc. Is real?
Personally I think it is… I don't think it's anyone's business. But I have seen people who have asked someone "Is that your real hair or a wig?" or "Are those contact lenses or your real eyes?" and I found it appalling. I know if someone were to ask me something like that, they would get a not-so-friendly response from me… What's your opinion?

How can I get rid of a sore red eyeball fast?
My eyeball is sore and red. I need it to be gone by tomorrow. I have to go to work. I took my contact lenses out and used some visine. It always feels like something is in my eye. There's nothing in my eye right now. What else do I do?

How to properly clean contact lens case?
Is it necessary to air dry your case after you rinse it with solution? Or can I just put new solution right away right after I've already rinsed them and I'm good to go?

I have several eye problems, what are my options for vision correction?
Hi all,
Unfortunately, I was born with horrible vision and it's slowly getting worse. At 22 years old, astigmatism, a thin cornea and a torn retina make my prescription equal to HM for "hand-movements". I spoke to my optometrist the other day about LASIK and she said that because my cornea was already thin that I might not even be eligible for the operation. She told me she'd check it out, though, which leaves me some hope.
This is the thing: My vision is terrible and as a result my prescription eye glasses average out to be about $1, 000. They're expensive, and if I have to get a new pair of $1, 000 glasses every 2 years or so, I might as well front the cost of corrective surgery. Additionally, having thick glasses is kind of embarrassing and, even if surgery can't completely correct my vision, improved eye sight would open up my options to different styles of glasses as well as minimize the embarrassment of thick lenses.
I've tried contacts, but because of my level of eyesight, I can only wear the hard lenses which are extremely uncomfortable. Judging by this information, of additional info if you need it, am I able to get ANY type of vision correction other than glasses/contacts or am I just SOL? I don't really know too much about how the other operations work so if you wouldn't mind explaining I'd really appreciate it.
Either way, I appreciate any help you can offer.
Thanks

What's my inborn eye condition?
From birth, or atleast as long as I can remember, I've had vision problems. On my left eye, it's completely blurry. Can't see even outlines of people's faces or read the biggest letter E on a Snellen Chart, even up close. My right eye is fine, but nearsighted. None of my eyes could be fixed by corrective lenses. No doctor here in the Philippines can tell me what my eye defect is especially the left one, which is my main concern cause lately I've been feeling depressed on not seeing stereoscopic 3d or depth. One doctor finally diagnosed me with microcornea, but even he isn't sure.
