How come some people seem to never develop presbyopia?

I have a friend who works in the optometry clinic, and has a patient who is aged 65, and does not wear glasses for distance or near. His binocular distance visual acuity is 20/15 (Snellen chart, at 20 ft) and binocular near visual acuity (Sloan Pocket card) is 20/20 at 16 inches. He only uses a weak +1.25 pair when he has to get very close to some tiny mechanical parts he will work on, like 6 inches close. I don't know what each eye is, but I was told he does not have mono vision as both eyes are the same level in diopters. No spherical correction, but cylindrical was like -0.25 for left eye and -0.50 for right eye… Any idea… As there's no way the lens can remain flexible that long, not even with genetics?

Eye contacts tips and questions?

I recently started wearing for the first time and was wondering about a few stuff…
My contacts are really dry at the end of the day since i have dry eye and eyedrops don't help and i accidentally took a short nap in them. Is there any way to keep the lens moisturized? Also, is there any contacts that are for dry eye and can be sleepable/able to nap in at Costco?

How long should I use soft contact lenses before throwing them away/ changing them?

I got extended wear soft contact lens(hydrogel) for my astigmatism of -2 cylinder in both eyes. The optician that i got them from told me that they can be used for upto 1.5-2 years before being discarded but when i searched on internet i only found the maximim usage time of 30 days for soft lens. So what i want to confirm is if the optician who i bought them from lied to me or am i missing something?

What's the difference between contact lens Axis 170 and 180?

My power is -3.00
CYL: -0.75
AXIS 170

I originally had 170 but They changed the axis to 180. But I've been wearing 170 because they gave me my old prescription my accident and I didn't realize. So will it make a difference now that they've sent me the new one?

New glasses give small headache near left eye?

I have a new pair of glasses. I see perfectly with them. Very sharp text. But it's not perfect. Whenever I start reading I get a small headache just near my left eye. Because of that, using my new glasses, I decided to close one eye at a time:
The image I get from my right eye is perfect.
The image I get from my left eye, is not so sharp (and remember, I get headaches near my left eye).
But, once again with both eyes, open my vision is perfect, near or far (with the glasses).
Without glasses my vision is not equal, lenses have to be different, ok I get it. But closing one eye, keeping the other open, should give the exact same result? Because in the process of choosing the right lenses that was what the doctor was doing.
Or what's important, is both lenses working together, which in my case produce a sharp image, with a small headache near the left eye.
Thanks
PS: English is not my native language.
