Can i wear contact lenses only in 1 eye?

my left eye is Lazy and i can barely see with it ( like 8myopia) but my right eye is much better (smh like 2 myopia) so when i wear contact on the lazy one it doesnt make any difference ( i cant wear deifferent contact lenses) So can i wear only 1 contact to my right eye (the "good" one )

The box says 1-2 weeks but how do i determine when during that period? Also I usually don t wear my contacts everyday so is it 1-2 weeks since you open the contacts or does it count as the day you actually wear them? Thank you in advance!

I noticed I got small bump beneath my eyelid on the water line. Today I tried out samples for color lenses and they use same lenses that other people wore then disinfect it but I'm worried if I got this bump since its used lenses? I'm worried what do I do? I did see little trash floating I think on that contact before I tried it out but I flushed it with saline for eye. What should I do? Do you think used contacts at optician caused this?

I recently bought some coloured contacts by the brand Edit and I was wondering if anybody had used this brand before for contact lenses? And if so, what were they like? They have been out for 6 hours now and my vision is still blurry? The best way i can describe it is when your eyes go out of focus, except mine won't focus again. What should I do?

I just bought the red contact lenses and they are in sterile pod thingys with this liquid, my question is do I need to use all in one multi-purpose solution and soak the lenses in it before wearing them? (The lenses are for 1 time use but will I be able to use them again if I soak them in the solution?)

The leaflet says it doesn't apply to daily contacts, I'm only going to wear them for a day so do I still soak them or not?

I got some lenses for Halloween last year (2014) and I know they have a shelf life of one year after opening the seal. I remember getting them before Halloween but only one or two days before. I was wondering if it would still be safe to wear the contacts this year. Thanks!

Will a wrong prescription affect my vision long term?

My eye doctor was rushing and he didn't really check my right eye. The report said my left eye changed slightly and my right eye didn't change at all.

When I put on my new glasses my left lens is perfectly clear, but the right one is noticably a weaker prescription. It makes me not want to wear my glasses.

I believe the right lens prescription is suppose to be the same as the left. If I wear the glasses will it mess up my vision?

Contact lenses folded in half after removing and stuck?

After I took out my lenses, they kinda got folded in halves and stuck like that. I tried leaving them in saline solution overnight and when I tried to put them back on the next morning, it's really stuck, and I accidentally teared them when I was trying to unfold them. What did I do wrong? I did exactly what my eye doctor told me. Were my eyes too dry or something?

Well i got my contact lenses a week ago and have been wearing them everyday for around 5-7 hours. Everything is clear and crisp in the daylight but when i'm in a dark area or when its night time its all very blurry and its just hard to see. I can see but its blurry. My optician said that its normal and you cannot change it but i have been visiting a few sites and saw that its the brand that needs changing. My optician recommended me proclear toric xl or xr the ones you change each month. So i dont really know what to do my prescription is -8.50 in both eyes which means i'm very shortsighted. Any help? I asked this question and someone goes that it's weird that it happens but my optician says you cannot change it all?

I put the lens soloution cleaner thing and i used them as eye drops?

I just got monthlies 3 weeks ago. So i didn't have any eyedrops in the house with me so I used the soloution which you clean and store your contact in, and put it in my eye. My eye felt fine, and while it didn't really help my eye, it didn't sting or anything. Can this affect my eyesight? Is this not recommended?

Hydrogen peroxide in my eye. Should I go to the doctor?

I thought it was contact solution, the bottle never said I couldn't use it in a regular contacts case. It turned out to be lens cleaner. So I put in my contact, and it STUNG. I didn't even get it completely in, it just got in my eye but not fully onto it. I got it out before it slid over my pupil. The second I touched my eye with it it started burning. I waited for the burning to cool off and put a new pair of contacts in, then about 30 minutes to an hour later my eye was super red so I googled it and rinsed my eye like it said to. My eye was itchy for a while after that, but it stopped burning.

I wore my glasses for the rest of the day and the one after that, and most of the red has gone down. It's only in the bottom left side of my left eye now. When you pull down my bottom eyelid, it looks Really red down there. I wore my contacts to school today and took them out when I got home. My eye doesn't burn or itch anymore, it just feels uncomfortable. I guess it's on the stinging side still, but it's very veeeeery mild. Occasionally it'll sting for a like a second and go away.

I don't know whether I should go to the doctor or not. My mom just lost her job and we're really tight on money- I don't want to make her spend it on me. And then they'd probably tell me to stop wearing my contacts and just wear my glasses, but I didn't update my glasses to my prescription like I did my contacts so my glasses are still pretty blurry. My mom would have to pay for new glasses, too.

Is it safe to use contact lens close to their expiration date?

Okay, so I have 60 days worth of daily disposable Acuvue contact lens.

I bought them in 2011 and they all expire next year since they are good for 5 years - some have an expiration date of January 2016 and the rest has an expiration date of August 2016.

My question is, is it safe to use them? Their packages are perfectly intact, and my dioptres have not changed since 2011.

They're out now. At this moment, my eyes are a little dry, but otherwise feel fine.

I mean, this might be complicated. But yes, I wear colored contact lenses, they're blue and they look pretty natural to be honest. My eyes are brown, but I don't really like them, and I think I look way better with my contacts on. So, just to be concrete now, I have wanted to be a model for a long time, but I don't think I can be accepted into any modelling agency as long as I wear contacts. i looked in eve store possible for white contact lenses but couldnt find them. Why did my eye start hurting after putting in my contact lenses?

After putting in my contact lenses, my left eye started burning horribly. I immediately took it out and put it back in saline solution. I've never had this problem before.
Added (1). Its been about five minutes since I took them out and I still feel like my eye is burning a bit.
