I have been using contact lenses for the past 7 years and i never have had any problem but recently I saw a documentary explaining the blinking function of the eye, according to which when we blink our eyes actually clean the whole surface of the eye and in this way our eyes are protected from any kind of infection.
So this question comes in my mind that how much this natural phenomenon of the eye is affected by the presence of contact lenses?
And if it does then what will be the long lasting effects?
