I have asked before but they just say you have to wait to get your braces off. I get my braces off in January and I know it isn't very long but I discovered today that the lenses in my glasses are starting to pop out and won't go back in. I've been wearing glasses since the end of 4th grade and now I'm a freshman in high school. The pair of glasses I have now is about 2 years old.
