Is it safe to wear opaque contact lenses that weren't prescribed for me?

I got them as free samples from a certified optometrist. They are yellow and gray. I have brown eyes. Please tell me if they will permanently damage my eyes in any way. This is relatively urgent. If you don't know then please do some research and I would be ever so grateful. Thanks for your answers. (Please don't be vulger or obscene.)
Added (1). I assure I am not lying (I don't lie at all). They are free samples. Is it illegal to wear them without having some tried on? I know how to put them in, and if they aren't comfortable despite my checking to see if they are inside out etc., then I will not wear them.
