Nations such as Japan and China love beauty and have amazing beauty products, which represents their focus onto appearence. Why are false eyelashes, lip plumpers, contact lenses in blues and greens so popular? Whenever I go onto the biggest online stores located in areas such as Hong Kong, such a focus is onto makeup products that make the eyes more larger, and other illusions. Although I do understand that having white skin is significant historically for asian women, but the other things seem in line with western ideals of beauty. Any answers?
