My eyes got more nearsighted and I'm getting new glasses with stronger lenses today or tomorrow.My new prescription is -9.50 and -10.25 (-1.50 more for each eye). Someone here (an optician, actually) suggested that I get Trivex lenses. How do thy differ from the ones I have now which are 1.67? Are they the right kind of lenses for my prescription? Thanks!
Added (1). The licensed optician who recommended them said they would be thicker but lighter and more comfortable. True or false?
