I'm 11 right now and almost 12. I've been wearing glasses since i was 9 and i absolutely HATE them. I feel really weird and insecure about how they look. They are such a hassle and i need to clean them like every minute. I asked my mom many times but the answer is always the same, NO! She thinks that i am too young and that i won't be able to take care of them and infect my eyes. Two of my best friends got contacts at a young age too. One at 9 and the other at 11. Every time i bring it up she gets mad
I have an appointment with my optometrist in a week.Is there anyway i can persuade my mom by then? And what is your opinion about this?
