So a few days ago I went on a road trip and forgot my contact solution.So I put my lenses in bottle caps from two purified water bottles with some rewetting drops.It was fine the next day and when I got home I threw the contacts away and put in new ones. However since then whenever I take my contacts out it feels like something is in my eye under the top eyelid. I was reading about Acanthamoeba keratitis and got worried because that is one of the symptoms. Any other ideas? Maybe it's just the new lenses? I'm only really worried because the sensation is in my only properly working eye- the other one is practically blind.
