Is there a ongoing research where researchers are tying to discover how to cure kidney failure or to replace the kidney with something that the body will accept without taking all this medicine? im asking because i have alport syndrome and im sick of going to the hospital for I. V.'s and taking medicine everyday. I want to be able to live a healthy normal life without all these trips to the hospital.this disease screwed me over big time, my eyesight and hearing is permanently damaged and i now have to wear hearing aids and contact lenses.
