Hi!
So I'm writing a short story about a pair of glasses that gets thrown out by its owner. Most of it takes places while its in the dumpster. It gets replaced by a pair of contact lenses and I've used flashbacks to describe how its life was before. I am not sure how it should end, though. I want it to be a little sad but not tear-jerking or anything. Any ideas? Maybe it hears the rubbish trucks coming to collect him?
