Okay I been to the eye doctor before to try get contact lenses but everytime I go I can't seem to do it, I'm 22 years old been there at least 3 different occassion more then hour trying get them in but no luck

I have been practing at home poking my eye, etc, and my mother and I have same Prescription for eye glasses, etc and was thinking just using her to practice is this okay to do?
