I wear Ciba Soft Focus contact lenses in Evergreen. I wear them purely for cosmetic purposes (I have 20/20 vision) But my eye doctor said that this particular brand of color enhancing lenses have a minimum prescription in them of -.50 and that you can't get them without prescription. He went ahead and ordered them for me, but I notice the prescription, though it's slight. After a while my head and eyes kind of throb a little and my vision will get a little blurry.Is this normal? My eye doctor said it was okay to get them with the -.50 prescription and that it won't affect me… but I'm starting to think otherwise. (The guy was kind of a nut, to be honest… )
