Help me out here, I just visited a new optometry, said I wanted contacts, and they gave me a glasses prescription as well as a fitting for contacts. Did I need both to get contacts? My last optometry did not charge contacts fitting so I had no idea contact lens exams where different from glasses exams. I already have glasses and I was not looking to get a new pair or new glasses lenses AT ALL. I just want contacts.
