Can i wear Gas Permeable Contacts on lazy eye?

for those who don't know what lazy eye is, please do not comment, i asked my eye doctor about it and he said i can get used to it however i can't even get it in the lazy eye(you have to focus on the gas Perm. Contats which is way smaller than the regular one and way harder, after you put it in your eyes you can blink until it's adjusted, and it CAN get stuck on the edges of your eyes, what scares me is that i wasn't able to learn how to put it in, as a matter of fact i wasn't even able to put it in the lazy eye without rapidly blinking and having extremely red eyes(happened at the doc's office) i tried taking them off and on about 3 times and this happened in all 3 times, and they are also extremely expensive and they take about 1-3 months to get used to for the eye that can move normally, so for those who knows about the matter do you think itd be better if i just get glasses?
Added (1). Contats(line 2)= Contacts
spelling fix: you can fix(line 3)= you can't blink
