Eye anatomy: Best way to organize the structures in my thesis?

I have to do this section in my thesis about the eye anatomy, but I'm have trouble organizing it and making sense because I always end up talking anout structures that are further ahead.

I have:
- Corneoscleral Tunic: sclera, cornea (limbus)
- Uveal Tunic: choroid, ciliar body, iris (pupil, lens)
- Retinal Tunic: retina and optic nerve.

Lacrimal gland
Eyelids
3rd eyelid (in small animals)

Thank you in advance.
