I got cataract surgery on both eyes, i'm struggling with progressives. Especially with computer and reading, it seems the only clarity i get is with distance with progressive glasses

I also had a question about focusing, it seems my left eye can only focus a very very short distance regardless of whether i put on single vision glasses or intermediate glasses. It seems my opthamologist doesn't understand. When i put on single vision in my left eye, i see 20/20 but i get "zero intermediate" while with my right eye i see 20/20 and even get moderate "near intermediate" and "far intermediate". Please can a specialist explain this to me? Is there a problem with the implant?
