This friend of mine, she's been using her 1 year daily wear lenses, for more than 2 years! December the 3rd, she completed the second year, and she's still using them.planning to get a new pair tomorrow, not because she's having problems with the last pair, she just got tired of them and want to try some new stuff that's hit the stores.
Makes me question, why do i keep throwing away perfectly good lenses after 3 months!
She's had no eye problems whatsoever. She got a new prescription today, and the doc didn't even get to know! her the doc didn't find anything wrong with her eyes, so then the lenses of course didn't harm her eyes, the doc would have found out and would have refused to dispense a contact lens prescription again, if they did.
What is this, a scam? Lens companies earning extra $$$ by scaring people of impending blindness if they don't keep paying them money routinely?
