When someone buys glasses from a optical shop (like a LensCrafter or Pearl Vision) they hand over their prescription and select frames.My question is this: If no specific lens manufacturer is requested for the eye lens, what will the be supplied? Will they just sell you a generic lens? When should a particular maker be requested?
