So I read online that children between 8 and 16 are the best age to get contact lenses. I'm 13 and I really have bad eyesight and all the glasses I've owned have been damaged because I hate wearing them and usually leave them around. I'm trying to convince my mom to get me them but she said she's better off asking the doctor and I'm afraid he's gonna say no because I really don't want glasses because I really recks my self esteem. How to i convince the doctor to tell my mom to get me contacts. Also what's cheaper. Please help?!?
