Is it possible to give humans night vision with genetic modification?

Writing a science fiction book that takes place in the future. People can choose to have hearing upgrades so they have a better hearing range, and can also opt out of prescription glasses or contact lenses and by having their eyesight upgraded, too. Babies can also be modified in-utero so they won't be born with any genetic ailments, etc.

But what about night vision? Is it possible to give humans the ability to see in the dark, without compromising how well we see during the day, using genetic modification or biotechnology? How would this work?
