I'm fairly sure that I need glasses, and tomorrow I shall be tested. First, can you describe to me the process? What will he do? How long will it take?
If I do need glasses, will it take longer? Would I receive my glasses soon?

Added (1). Mary- I'm not exactly that old, and usually school exams have been sufficient since I did not have eye problems back then. I didn't ask if it would hurt, I was just wondering how the examination would go and how long it would be, which is yet to be answered.
