I was diagnosed yesterday with cataracts in both eyes. I rely on my vision in my profession. My vision acuity has diminished severely over past 6 months. The Ophthalmologist says to wait until vision with corrective lenses drops to 20/30. How long do persons typically wait to have surgery & what is prognosis post surgery?
