Last night I went over to my 7 year old daughter's best friend's house to pick her up for a plant sleepover party--I was told by the mother "I'm terribly sorry but Ashley will not be able to go… She has pink eye and I don't want your daughter or you to get it as well"… And in the back I saw the girl sitting with her arms folded and a big scowl on her face.
I've remotely heard of it, but I thought your eye just turns itchy and red (something I deal with time to time with contact lenses yet I still carry on)… What is it exactly and is it actually contageous?
