Will a wrong prescription affect my vision long term?


My eye doctor was rushing and he didn't really check my right eye. The report said my left eye changed slightly and my right eye didn't change at all.

When I put on my new glasses my left lens is perfectly clear, but the right one is noticably a weaker prescription. It makes me not want to wear my glasses.

I believe the right lens prescription is suppose to be the same as the left. If I wear the glasses will it mess up my vision?
