I wore a pair of colored contacts. Am I at risk for losing my eyesight?

So I bought a pair of colored contacts from a store. It wasn't until after I wore them for a few hours that someone told me they might be bad for my eyesight. So, I did some research, and boy do I wish someone had said something beforehand.
I wore these contacts for a few hours. They were in eye solution and everything, but are still not prescription(which I now know are illegal to even be sold).
They're out now. At this moment, my eyes are a little dry, but otherwise feel fine.
Am I at risk for losing my eyesight?
