18, hair has receded this far already. What styles could I get which don't look stupid?

I'm 18 years old, and my hair has receded this far already. I am getting my hair cut this weekend and I was wondering what hairstyles could I have which wouldn't look totally retarded. I would prefer to avoid the simple buzz cut though, I don't think I have the head shape for it…
I also have contact lenses, so the glasses aren't really an issue…
